KESIMPULAN UMUM

Tepung kedelai kaya isoflavon, Zn dan Vitamin E (Penelitian Tahap I)

1. Terjadi interaksi secara sinergis antara tepung kedelai kaya isoflavon, Zn dan vitamin E pada tikus jantan yang menyebabkan :

• terhambatnya pembentukan peroksidasi lipid yang diperlihatkan dengan menurunnya kadar MDA testis

• aktivitas enzim SOD testis dipertahankan tetap tinggi

• kandungan Cu,Zn-SOD tubuli seminiferi testis pada sel spermatosit dan spermatid awal dipertahankan tetap tinggi

• meningkatnya motilitas spermatozoa, konsentrasi spermatozoa, kadar hormon testostreron serum, serta jumlah sel spermatogenik pada tubuli seminiferi testis

• Fertilitas paling baik dibanding pemberian secara tunggal atau dua kombinasi diantaranya.

2. Pemberian tepung kedelai kaya isoflavon, Zn dan vitamin E pada tikus jantan tidak berpengaruh terhadap berat testis, serta angka kebuntingan dan jumlah fetus pada tikus betina.

3. Perlakuan yang menunjukkan fertilitas tikus jantan terbaik adalah pemberian secara lengkap : tepung kedelai kaya isoflavon dengan dosis isoflavon 3 mg/ekor/hari, Zn 6.14 mg/kg ransum, dan vitamin E 100 mg/kg ransum.

Tepung kedelai kaya isoflavon pada berbagai tingkatan dosis (Penelitian Tahap II)

1. Pemberian tepung kedelai kaya isoflavon pada berbagai tingkatan dosis terhadap tikus jantan tidak berpengaruh terhadap abnormalitas spermatozoa. 2. Pemberian tepung kedelai kaya isoflavon pada dosis isoflavon 6 mg/ekor/hari

pada tikus jantan menyebabkan kasus infertilitas, namun tidak mempengaruhi libido (angka kopulasi pada tikus betina sebesar 100%, namun angka konsepsi sebesar 0%).

3. Pemberian tepung kedelai kaya isoflavon dengan dosis isoflavon yang semakin tinggi menyebabkan peningkatan kadar hormon testosteron serum dan jumlah sel Leydig pada tikus jantan.

4. Dosis isoflavon optimum yang menghasilkan fertilitas tikus jantan terbaik adalah 1.5 mg/ekor/hari dan menyebabkan :

• meningkatnya berat testis, motilitas dan konsentrasi spermatozoa, serta jumlah sel spermatogenik pada tubuli seminiferi testis

• terhambatnya pembentukan peroksidasi lipid yang diperlihatkan dengan menurunnya kadar MDA testis

• aktivitas enzim SOD testis dipertahankan tetap tinggi

• kandungan Cu,Zn-SOD tubuli seminiferi testis pada sel spermatosit dan spermatid awal dipertahankan tetap tinggi

SARAN

Masih perlu dilakukan uji klinis untuk mengetahui efektivitas isoflavon yang terkandung dalam tepung kedelai kaya isoflavon sebelum diaplikasikan sebagai suplemen untuk meningkatkan fertilitas.
