Komunikasi pemasaran menjadi material dikarenakan sesuai dengan Visi dan Misi Perseroan maka ANTAM diharuskan untuk senantiasa meningkatkan kepuasan pelanggan dengan standar kelas dunia. Untuk mengetahui tingkat kepuasan pelanggan tersebut maka komunikasi dengan setiap pelanggan harus terus dijalin dan dipelihara guna kesinambungan penjualan produk dan daya saing Perseroan.
Marketing communication becomes material as in accordance with the Company’s Vision and Mission, ANTAM is required to continuously increase customer satisfaction with world class standards. To identify the level of customer satisfaction, communication with every customer needs to be established and maintained for continuity of product sales and the company’s competitiveness.

“Material menjadi aspek material karena sesuai dengan Visi & Misi ANTAM yaitu ”Menjadi Korporasi Global Berbasis Pertambangan dengan Pertumbuhan Sehat dan Standar Kelas Dunia” dan juga termasuk pada salah satu visi ANTAM yaitu ”Menciptakan keunggulan operasional berbasis biaya rendah dan teknologi tepat guna dengan mengutamakan kesehatan dan keselamatan kerja serta lingkungan hidup”” sehingga ANTAM berupaya mencapai sebuah sistem pengelolaan pertambangan (Mining Best Practice) termasuk diantaranya juga Sistem Pengelolaan Lingkungan yang berstandar kelas dunia. Selain itu aspek tersebut juga normatif tercakup dalam regulasi pemerintah termasuk regulasi Kementerian ESDM dan Kementerian Lingkungan Hidup (KLH)”
