6.2 Saran
6.2.1 Penyebab infeksi OMSK bukan saja berasal dari kuman aerob tetapi dapat juga berasal dari kuman anaerob dan jamur ataupun kombinasi diantaranya. Sehingga diperlukan penelitian lebih lanjut untuk melakukan pemeriksaan pola kuman dan sensitifitas terhadap kuman aerob, anaerob dan jamur secara bersama-sama. Diharapkan dengan pemeriksaan secara keseluruhan tidak ada lagi hasil kultur yang negatif.
6.2.2 Pemberian terapi pada awal OMSK haruslah berdasarkan data empirik, dimana data ini dapat berubah sehingga diperlukan pemeriksaan pola kuman dan sensitifitas terhadap antibiotika secara priodik sehingga dokter dalam memberikan terapi tepat sasaran.
6.2.3 Dalam pengambilan sekret telinga pada penderita OMSK haruslah dilakukan dan menggunakan alat yang steril, tepat pada daerah telinga tengah sehingga kuman yang diperoleh memang benar-benar dari telinga tengah yang belum terkontaminasi.

Bapak/Ibu/Sdr./i yang sangat saya hormati, nama saya dr. Sri Novita Sembiring, Residen Departemen Telinga Hidung Tenggorokan Bedah Kepala Leher Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Sumatera Utara. Saat ini saya sedang melakukan penelitian untuk tesis magister yang berjudul
“Pola Kuman Aerob Dan Uji Sensitifitas Pada Penyakit Otitis Media
Supuratif Kronis (OMSK)DI RSUP H. Adam Malik Medan”.
Untuk melengkapi penelitian ini, maka saya harus melakukan wawancara dan pemeriksaan pada Bapak/Ibu/Sdr./i. Sebelumnya, saya
