ABSTRAK
Sistem informasi debitur (SID) menjadi salah satu faktor penilaian oleh bank atau lembaga kredit lainnya dalam menganalisa kelayakan suatu permohonan kredit calon debitur dengan melakukan pengecekan informasi kredit yang berhubungan dengan calon debitur. Namun, Informasi debitur yang terdapat dalam SID seringkali terdapat perbedaan antara data pada SID dengan keadaan debitur yang sebenarnya. Hal itu terjadi karena adanya kesalahan dalam proses pelaporan data debitur yang dilakukan oleh pelapor SID sehingga terdapat data debitur yang tumpang tindih dan menimbulkan kerugian bagi debitur yang bersangkutan. Tujuan Penelitian adalah untuk menganalisis pelaksanaan penginputan data laporan SID oleh bank umum, dan mengetahui pertanggungjawaban yang harus dilakukan oleh bank umum terhadap nasabah akibat kerugian yang timbul dalam pelaporan data SID.
Metode pendekatan yang digunakan adalah yuridis normatif dan spesifikasi penelitian bersifat deskriptif analitis dengan mengkaji bahan-bahan kepustakaan yang didukung dengan penelitian lapangan. Analisis data menggunakan metode normatif kualitatif.

ABSTRACT
Debtor information system (DIS) is one the rafting factor assessment by a bank or other credit institutions in analyzing the feasibility of a loan application to a potential debtors by checking credit information relating to prospective debtor. However, information contain in the DIS is often different between the data on DIS with the actual state of the debtor. It happened because of an error in the reporting debtor data process that caused by the repporting DIS repporter so that the DIS data overlaping and cause harm to the debtor. The purposes of the research are to analyze the implrmrntation of the DIS input data reports by commercial bank and the responsibility that must be done by commercial bank to the customers due to losses incurred in the reporting DIS data.
The methodology is normative judicial approach and the research specifications consist of a descriptive analysis through the evaluation of existing literature that could be supported by field research. The method of data analysis used was normative qualitative analysis.
