ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Kandang Unggas Fakultas Peternakan, Universitas Padjadjaran Kabupaten Sumedang mulai tanggal 25 Januari sampai dengan 14 Februari 2013. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian bawang putih (Allium sativum) terhadap konsentrasi glukosa dan berat kering hati puyuh. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimental dengan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL). Terdapat empat jenis perlakuan (P0 = 0 gr BK, P1 = 0,525 gr BK, P2 = 1,050 gr BK, dan P3 = 1,575 gr BK bawang putih) dengan lima ulangan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis statistik menunjukkan bahwa pemberian bawang putih (0,525 – 1,575 gr BK) berpengaruh nyata (p<0,05) terhadap konsentrasi glukosa dan berat kering hati puyuh, pada konsentrasi glukosa berbeda nyata dengan P0 = 0,33 mg/g, P1 = 0,28 mg/g, P2 = 0,31 mg/g, P3 = 0,33, sedangkan pada berat kering hati berbeda nyata dengan P0 = 1,03 g P1 = 0,77 g, P2 = 1,16 g, P3 = 1,23 g.

ABSTRACT
This study implemented at the Faculty of Animal Husbandry Poultry farm, Padjadjaran University Sumedang from January 25 to February 14, 2013. Forty quails used in this study to determine the effect of administration of garlic (Allium sativum) on glucose content and dry weight level of liver quail. Experimental method of Completely Randomized Design (CRD) by four types of treatment P0 = 0 gr, P1 = 0,525 gr, P2 = 1,050 gr, dan P3 = 1,575 gr of garlic) and five replicates used in this research. Based on the results fo research showed that administration of garlic (0.525 to 1.575 gr) was significantly effect (p <0.05) on a decrease of glucose content and dry weight of the liver quail. The significantly of difference effect showed on the number of glucose content of quils that it given treatment P0 = 0,33 mg/g, P1 = 0,28 mg/g, P2 = 0,31 mg/g, P3 = 0,33. The dry weight of the liver quail showed significantly difference between P0 = 1,03 g, P1 = 0,77 g, P2 = 1,16 g and P3 = 1,23 g.
