The Goods of Bedroom as Globalization Product

We often pay less attention or reflect detail of matters around us. Few of us reflect and ask ourselves such as, why there are those goods, what those goods are for, where the origin goods is, and how process flow of manufacturing goods. If we reflect, observe, and think of it further, goods that are around us has gone through a long path. Instance of matter that we never farther apart is a bedroom.

If we trace further, apparently, there are many things in our bedroom are products of globalization. How this could happen? Perhaps, we will not think of it further at glance. However, if we reflect it, we will have better understanding how globalization relates to our activity. In the bedroom, we can find many things such as, fan, air conditioning, television, radio, mobile phone, cabinets, mattresses, pillows, bed sheets, bedcovers, and lights. Those are products of globalization. The advance of technology brings the world integrated and

compression. So we do not need to be hard and take a long time to know even it is far from us. Try to imagine, if we go back to an era where communication technologies such as mobile phone has not been found. We must send a letter to apprise people that we are headed. It will take a long time, even more so to wait for a reply letter.

Meanwhile, the mattress we sleep, according to the results of my reflections, as well as through globalization process. In this case, Jepara carving mattress frame is also exported to many countries such as countries in Europe. Through free trade, Indonesia-products in this order, Jepara carving mattress frame can easily enter the global market due to the absence of trade barriers that make it through more smoothly. Therefore, globalization as increasing of cross-border flows of goods, services, money may be applied. Free trade brings huge benefit for Indonesia. Indonesia is able to increase foreign exchange earnings from exports of Jepara mattress frame.
