PENENTUAN KADAR TOTAL PADATAN TERSUSPENSI (TSS) DAN SULFIDA (S2-) DARI AIR LIMBAH INLET DAN OUTLET
PT. TOBA PULP LESTARI, Tbk PORSEA
ABSTRAK
Telah dilakukan analisa kadar TSS (Total PadatanTersuspensi) dan Sulfida (S2-) dalam air limbah cair inlet dan outlet pabrik pulp di laboratorium PT. Toba Pulp Lestari, Tbk. Pemeriksaan kadar TSS (Total Padatan Tersuspensi) dilakukan dengan metode gravimetri yaitu dengan penyaringan, pengeringan, dan penimbangan sampai pada berat konstan. Pemeriksaan kadar Sulfida dilakukan dengan metode Spektrofotometer. Dimana panjang gelombang untuk Sulfida 665 nm. Analisa terhadap limbah cair berdasarkan atas parameter – parameter baku mutu limbah cair yang ditetapkan oleh Menteri Lingkungan Hidup.
Dari hasil analisa yang dilakukan diperoleh kadar Total Padatan Tersuspensi di inlet primary clarifier pada sampel 1 = 198 mg/l, sampel 2 = 62 mg/l dan sampel 3 = 92 mg/l. Di outlet secondary clarifier pada sampel 1 = 44 mg/l, sampel 2 = 45 mg/l dan sampel 3 = 46 mg/l. Kadar sulfida di inlet primary clarifier pada sampel 1 = 0,0054 mg/l, sampel 2 = 0,0030 mg/l dan sampel 3 = 0,0023 mg/l. . Di outlet
secondary clarifier pada sampel 1 = 0,0015 mg/l, sampel 2 = 0,0013 mg/l dan sampel 3 = 0,0009 mg/l.
Apabila dibandingkan kadar parameter limbah hasil analisa dengan parameter baku mutu limbah cair yang ditetapkan oleh Menteri Lingkungan Hidup, maka air limbah yang di analisa masih berada di bawah kadar mutu limbah cair tersebut.

Has Analyzed levels of TSS (Total Suspended Solids) and sulfide (S 2-) in the laboratory pulp mill effluent PT. Toba Pulp Lestari Tbk. The level of TSS (Total Suspended Solids) performed by gravimetric method is by filtration, drying and weighing until constant weight. Sulfide content inspection was conducted using a spectrophotometer. Wherein the wavelength of 665 nm sulphide. Analysis of the effluent based on the parameters - parameters of effluent standards set by the Minister of Environment.
From The results of the analysis obtained by the levels of total suspended solids in the sample 1 = 44 mg / l, sample 2 = 45 mg / l and sample 3 = 46 mg / l. Sulfide levels in the samples 1 = 0.0054 mg / l, sample 2 = 0.0030 mg / l and sample 3 = 0.0023 mg /l.
When Compared to the parameters of the analysis results by parameter waste effluent standards set by the Ministry of Environment, the waste water in the analysis is still below the levels of effluent quality.
