ABSTRAK

Kinerja yang baik tercermin dari budaya organisasi para perawat dalam hal ini perawat dituntut untuk bekerja sesuai dengan visi dan misi instansi yaitu Melayani dengan kasih secara profesional. Perawat memberikan pelayanan yang tepat dan cepat, berorientasi kepada kepuasaan pasien dan bekerja sama untuk memberikan pelayanan yang memuaskan.

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh budaya organisasi terhadap kinerja perawat di Rumah Sakit Umum Restu Ibu Medan 2015. Jenis penelitian explanatory research. Populasi adalah perawat pelaksana ruang rawat inap RSU Restu Ibu Medan berjumlah 82 orang yang seluruhnya dijadikan sampel. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner,dianalisis menggunakan uji statistik Chi-Square dan regresi linier berganda pada taraf kemaknaan α = 0,05.

Hasil penelitian menunjukkan budaya organisasi mempunyai pengaruh searah terhadap kinerja perawat pelaksana. Budaya organisasi seperti disiplin, kerjasama, responsif, komunikatif dan inisiatif berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja perawat pelaksana.

Disarankan kepada pimpinan RSU Restu Ibu Medan penerapan budaya organisasi lebih ditingkatkan lagi dengan membiasakan penyelesaian pekerjaan tepat waktu, tidak meninggalkan pekerjaan sebelum memastikan semuanya berjalan dengan baik, berkomunikasi atau menjalin kerja sama dengan sejawat/ atasan dan kerjasama tim dengan baik.

ABSTRACT

A good performance is reflected from nurses’ organizational culture; in this case, nurses are demanded to work according to the agency’s vision and mission by serving patients compassionately and professionally. Nurses should provide correct and fast service which is oriented to patient satisfaction and collaboration in order to provide satisfactory service.

The objective of the research was to find out the influence of organizational culture on nurses’ performance at RSU (General Hospital) Restu Ibu, Medan, 2015. The research used explanatory research method. The population was 82 nurse practitioners in the Inpatient Wards of Restu Ibu Hospital, Medan, and all of them were used as the samples. The data were gathered by using questionnaires and analyzed by using chi square statistic test and multiple linear regression analysis at α = 0.05.

The result of the research showed that there was the influence of organizational culture on nurse practitioners’ performance. Organizational culture such as discipline, collaboration, responsiveness, communication, and initiative had positive influence on nurse practitioners’ performance.

It is recommended that the hospital management increase organizational culture by completing a certain work punctually, not leave a certain work before getting through it, communicate or collaborate with colleagues/superiors, and perform good teamwork.

ABSTRACT

The good performance reflected the organizational culture of the nurses in this case nurses are required to work in accordance with the vision and mission of the agency that is serving with love in a professional manner. Nurses provide fast and accurate service, oriented to the satisfaction of patients and work together to provide satisfactory service.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the influence of organizational culture on the performance of nurses at RSU Restu Ibu Medan 2015 type explanatory research. The population was nurses inpatient room RSU Restu Ibu Medan amounted to 82 people, all sampled. Data were collected through questionnaires, were analyzed using a statistical test Chi-Square and multiple linear regression on the level of significance α = 0.05.

The results showed the direction of organizational culture has an influence on the performance of nurses. Cultural organizations such as discipline, teamwork, responsive, communicative and initiatives positively affects the performance of nurses.

Suggested to the head of RSU Restu Ibu Medan of application organizational culture further enhanced by familiarizing the completion of work on time, do not leave the job before making sure everything goes well, communicate or collaborate with colleagues / boss and good teamwork.
