ABSTRAK
Diabetes Melitus adalah salah satu penyakit yang akan meningkat
jumlahnya di masa datang diantara penyakit tidak menular, dan TB Paru
merupakan penyakit menular yang juga masih terus meningkat dan merupakan
beban masalah yang berat. IDF menyatakan prevalensi DM di Indonesia (2015)
mencapai 87 per 1.000 penduduk. WHO (2011) menyatakan Prevalensi TB di
Indonesia tahun 2010 yaitu 289 per 100.000 penduduk. Tujuan penelitian ini
adalah untuk mengetahui karakteristik penderita DM tipe 2 dengan komplikasi TB
Paru rawat inap di RSUD Hadrianus Sinaga Pangururan Kabupaten Samosir
Tahun 2011-2016.
Penelitian bersifat deskriptif dengan desain
case series. Populasi adalah
seluruh data penderita DM tipe 2 dengan komplikasi TB Paru yang dirawat inap
dengan banyak sampel yaitu 91 data penderita. Data univariat dianalisis secara
desktiptif sedangkan data bivariat dianalisis menggunakan uji Chi-Square.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan proporsi tertinggi penderita DM tipe 2
dengan komplikasi TB Paru adalah kelompok umur 55-64 tahun (38,5%), laki-laki
(70,3%), suku Batak (100%), Kristen Protestan (87,9%), Petani/Buruh/Nelayan
(37,4%), Janda/Duda (51,6%), Pangururan (51,6%), BPJS/ASKES (73,6%), lama
rawatan ≥ 5 hari (48,4%)
, Obat Hipoglikemik Oral (90,1%), sehat (48,4%), foto
toraks (82,4%), TB Paru BTA negatif (83,5%), kasus baru (63,7%). Tidak ada
perbedan yang bermakna antara proporsi umur berdasarkan tipe penderita
(p=0,742), proporsi jenis kelamin berdasarkan proporsi tipe penderita (p=0,564),
lama rawatan rata-rata 58 orang penderita kasus baru adalah 4,83 hari, lama
rawatan rata-rata 33 orang penderita kasus kambuh/relaps adalah 5,70 hari,
proporsi hasil pemeriksaan dahak mikroskopis berdasarkan proporsi tipe penderita
(p=0,359), lama rawatan rata-rata 67 orang penderita dengan sumber biaya
BPJS/Askes adalah 5,36 hari, lama rawatan rata-rata 24 orang penderita dengan
sumber biaya Umum/Biaya Sendiri adalah 4,54 hari
Diharapkan kerjasama berbagai pihak untuk menekan angka kejadian DM
tipe 2 dengan komplikasi TB Paru ini yaitu oleh petugas kesehatan dan kesadaran
penderita untuk memeriksakan diri ke Rumah Sakit serta melakukan pengobatan
untuk mencegah penularan terhadap orang lain.

ABSTRACT
Diabetes mellitus is one of the diseases will increase in number in the
future among non-communicable diseases, and pulmonary TB is an infectious
disease also continues to rise and is a problem that a heavy burden. IDF declared
the prevalence of DM in Indonesia (2015) reached 87 per 1,000 population. WHO
(2011) reported prevalence of TB in Indonesia in 2010 is 289 per 100,000
population. The purpose of this study was to determine the characteristics of
patients with type 2 diabetes with complications of pulmonary TB inpatient care
in hospitals Hadrianus Sinaga Samosir District Pangururan in 2011-2016.
The study used descriptive method with case series design. Population
were patient data in 2011-2016 are hospitalized with type 2 diabetes with
complications of pulmonary TB and sample was taken as many as 91 patient data
by total sampling. Univariate data were analyzed by using by descriptive while
bivariate data were analyzed by using Chi-square test.
The results showed the highest proportion of people with type 2 diabetes
with complications of pulmonary TB is the age group 55-64 years (38.5%), male
(70.3%), Batak (100%), Protestants (87.9 %), Peasant / Workers / Fisherman
(37.4%), Widow / widower (51.6%), Pangururan (51.6%), BPJS/ASKES (73.6%),

new cases (63.7% ). No distinction has significant between the proportions of age
by type of patients (p = 0.742), the proportion of genders in proportion to the type
of patients (p = 0.564), long treatment an average of 58 people with new cases
was 4.83 days, long treatment an average of 33 people with rela ps cases was 5.70
days, the proportion of sputum microscopic based on the proportion types of
patients (p = 0.359), long treatment an average of 67 people with BPJS/Askes was
5.36 days, long treatment an average of 24 people with source of common cost
was 4.54 days.
Health workers role and patients is expected to suppress the incidence of
type 2 diabetes with complications of pulmonary TB and the patients awareness to
check into the hospital and take medication to prevent transmission to others.
