ABSTRACT
Realization of good health for the whole community is one manifestation of the success of the development of a nation. Government as one of the executive in the effort to improve the health maximally responsible for making the key performance indicators as a measure of the evaluation of healthcare that have been run. Report of the Organization of the Local Governance ( Laporan Penyelenggaraan Pemerintahan Daerah – LPPD) as acountability media in Salatiga consists of government public services for one period using key performance indicators of maternal and child health sector. Given the monitoring and evaluation system health based on achievement of key performance indikators, the study will compare the Key Performance Indicator (IKK) of maternal and child health are listed in LPPD, Strategic of the Ministry of Health of Republic of Indonesia (Renstra Kemenkes 2010-2014), and America’s key performance indicator as best practice.
This study found that key performance indicators of LPPD, Renstra Kemenkes 2010-2014, and America’s as a best practice is concidered by the bureaucrats are relevant to inclusion in LPPD Salatiga city as a measure of the performance areas of maternal and child health.
