M. Falikul Isbah is a lecturer at the Department of Sociology, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Universitas Gadjah Mada, Indonesia. He obtained his Ph.D. from the University of New South Wales (UNSW), Australia in 2016, and MA Sociology from Flinders University, Australia in 2011. His works were mainly on the intersection between the Sociology of Religion and Economic Sociology, including socio-economic movement conducted by pesantren (Islamic tradi- tional learning institution) in Indonesia. Over the past four years, Dr. Isbah has been expanding his interest in the Sociology of Work, Digital Economy and Employment Issues.
Zulfa Sakhiyya is Associate Professor at the Faculty of Languages and Arts, Universitas Negeri Semarang and a Fulbright Visiting Scholar in Ohio State University. She is the Communica- tion Director of the Indonesian Young Academy of Science (ALMI). Zulfa is a discourse analyst focusing on how knowledge is produced and represented, and published in the area. Her work has been published in journals such as Gender and Education; Globalization, Societies and Education, International Journal of Multilingualism, and Pedagogy, Culture and Society. Zulfa receives the Barr Mosenthal Awards in 2022 given by the International Literacy Association for her roles in literacy research in Indonesia.
