Keterbatasan Penelitian dan Saran Penelitian Lanjut

Pada penelitian ini ada beberapa keterbatasan yang dapat dilengkapi dalam penelitian selanjutnya, sebagai berikut :

1. Penelitian ini hanya menunjukkan pengaruh dari aspek-aspek variabel yang ada di dalam pengaturan pembelian impulsif di televisi (Impulse Buying Tendency in The Television Setting) yang dapat mempengaruhi sikap konsumen terhadap niat beli konsumen, hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa belum adanya aspek-aspek dari variabel lainnya, contohnya seperti Interaction with Salespeople in The Retail Setting, Impulse Buying Tendency in The Retail Setting yang ada di dalam suatu objek toko retail (offline) OSHOP yang dapat mempengaruhi sikap psikologis dan lingkungan konsumen terhadap pembelian impulsif.

2. Dalam penelitian ini pengumpulan data menggunakan google forms (kuisioner), namun pada kuisioner yang dibagikan kepada partisipan belum adanya filter pertanyaan yang menyatakan tentang toko retail (offline) OSHOP.

3. Penelitian ini hanya meneliti tanggapan dari para audience/pemirsa yang pernah menyaksikan atau berbelanja di program belanja OSHOP di televisi dan belum meneliti tanggapan dari pelanggan/konsumen di toko retail (Offline) OSHOP.

4. Penelitian ini objek dan respondennya tidak berada pada satu wilayah yang sama

Hasil kesimpulan dari penelitian ini dapat menjadi saran penelitian lanjut untuk penelitian selanjutnya sehingga dapat meningkatkan kualitas penelitian.

Analisis dalam penelitian ini didukung oleh data yang didapat. Adapun saran penelitian lanjut yang dapat diberikan kepada peneliti lain berdasarkan dengan hasil penelitian sebagai berikut :

1. Pada penelitian selanjutnya dapat mengembangkan penelitian ini dengan menambahkan aspek-aspek dari objek toko retail(offline) OSHOP yang dapat mempengaruhi sikap psikologis dan lingkungan dari konsumen terhadap produk yang ditawarkan. Selain itu peneliti selanjutnya juga dapat menambahkan faktor lain yang dapat mempengaruhi pembelian impulsif yaitu sebagai berikut :

- Terhadap produk yang ditawarkan sebaiknya dikategorikan sesuai dengan umurnya dan kebutuhannya, misalnya untuk usia 21-26 tahun lebih banyak menjual produk untuk kebutuhan lifestyle (gaya hidup) dan untuk usia 31-35 tahun lebih banyak menjual produk untuk kebutuhan rumah tangga dan balita.

2. Pada penelitian selanjutnya harus mencantumkan filter pertanyaan kepada partisipan apakah mereka pernah melakukan interaksi di toko retail (offline) OSHOP dan pernah melakukan transaksi atau pembelian di toko retail (offline) OSHOP.

Pada penelitian selanjutnya sebaiknya cangkupan wilayah dari responden sebaiknya diperluas, hal tersebut dapat disesuaikan dengan jangkauan penyiaran stasiun televisi OChannel. Pada penelitian selanjutnya sebaiknya agar memilih kriteria responden lebih terspesifikasi kepada ibu-ibu rumah tangga, hal tersebut dijadikan pilihan karena program belanja OSHOP di televisi maupun di toko retail(offline) menjual produk home living, perlengkapan dapur, serta produk kecantikan.
