This project was primarily made possible by God's divine empowerment, without which I would not even be in the ministry that led me to pursue my doctorate. I probably wouldn't have started the process if it weren't for the encouragement and assistance of my friend, partner in ministry, and faculty leader, Dr.

INTRODUCTION

Cross-cultural missions are magnified in the New Testament with the coming of the Messiah. Austin, History of Massachusetts, from the Landing of the Pilgrims to the Present Time (Boston: Rand and Avery, 1875), 1.

The Leaders’ Orientation

While people were eating, one of the deacons went around to ask each leader to proceed to the designated room for our meeting. We had already covered personal evangelism, so we studied the other four functions of the church: discipleship, fellowship, service, and worship. Some of the managers expressed their concern about unexpected emergencies that could prevent them from participating.

I closed the meeting by asking the leaders to remind their respective members about the orientation on the following Sunday.

The Participants’ Orientation

The goal was to measure any change they had after they went through the training and implementation of the project. I informed them that the outcome of the investigations would guide the pastor and leaders to understand the strengths and weaknesses of the project.

Introduction to Personal EvangelismPersonal Evangelism

I showed them the need to set the right priorities and develop a passion for lost souls. Instead, they must rely on the power of the Holy Spirit to convince the lost souls. The class viewed the condition of man as hopelessly and helplessly sinful.

This was balanced by the wrath of God and the judgment that follows for all those who reject Jesus as Savior and Lord.

Preparation for Personal EvangelismPersonal Evangelism

This preparation required them to know the contents of the Gospel and to memorize some verses that they would use in evangelism. I reminded them that their respective leaders would help and encourage them as they learned to share the gospel. Their leaders accompanied them when they went out and shared the gospel when needed.

Some guiding questions were given at the end of the session for their small group gathering during the week.

Strategies of Personal EvangelismPersonal Evangelism

This was necessary before they earned the right to make the prospects listen when they presented the gospel message. I encouraged the participants to spend time practicing the ice breaker with their respective partners during the small group meeting. This approach used the acronym ABCDEF, which stands for (1) Associate with non-believers from different cultures; (2) Befriend unbelievers; (3) generate interest in their culture; (4) Preach the gospel in a contextualized way; (5) Encourage a response from unbelief; and (6) Follow-up with those who responded to the gospel.

It is living your Christian life and preaching the gospel as you trust God for the results.”12.

Practicum of Personal EvangelismPersonal Evangelism

The presenter took time to determine the prospect's understanding of wages, sin, and death as he wrote each word on the left side of the cliff. The presenter wrote those words one by one on the right side of the cliff. He then asked the prospect what he needed to do to cross from the left side of the cliff to the other side.

One-Verse Evangelism to the delight of the participants.15 This greatly increased their enthusiasm and desire to use this method.

Cross-Cultural Evangelism among Anglosamong Anglos

I reminded them that cross-cultural evangelism involves spiritual warfare that requires the power of the Holy Spirit. Kenneth Ellis of the North American Mission Board in Alpharetta, Georgia was recommended to me by Parr to discuss evangelism among African Americans.19 The Cross-Cultural Evangelism Seminar, International Bible Church, June 15, 2012). Ellis drew participants' attention to Jesus's approach to cross-cultural evangelism.

He recognized the felt needs of the people and then moved on to their real underlying needs.

The first was overcoming ethnocentrism, which is one of the most important obstacles to intercultural evangelization. Another issue was overcoming stereotypes, which are generalizations about a group of people that oversimplifies their culture. The third obstacle is prejudice, which is an unfounded attitude towards other groups of people.

The last barrier we discussed was about discrimination, which is the process of treating individuals unequally based on race, gender or other characteristics.29 This session ended with a quote from Lane: "God's purposes are fulfilled when the Christian community has the skills. to relate to and build relationships with those of different cultures.

Discipleship and Church Growthand Church Growth

However, the Word of God encourages believers “not to give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another – and all the more as you see the Day approaching.” However, the basis of fellowship must be rooted in the teaching of the Word of God. 36 “Basic Training for Church Planters,” inGrowing Believers in the Faith (Alpharetta, GA: North American Mission Board of the SBC, 2003), 73.

We discussed the five functions of fellowship in the early church: (1) an opportunity for mutual service (Efe an opportunity to practice unity and cooperation despite diversity (Eph) an opportunity to exercise church discipline and accountability (Eph availability for mutual support and help (Acts 2:44) and (5) a place for discipleship and worship (Acts 2:42).39 These five functions of society enhanced the growth of the early church.

Ministry and Church Growth

The following are the essential steps as suggested by Warren: (1) don't vote for the ministry position, (2) create a ministry placement process, (3) provide on-the-job training, and (4) trust the people: delegate authority with responsibility .45. I closed the session by reminding the participants that the gifts given by God build up the recipient and the whole body of Christ.

Worship and Church Growth

The church's ministry of discipleship plays a vital role in helping each individual member discover, identify, develop, use and maximize the use of their gifts. These confirmations and equipping happen when the pastor leads the believers in a dialogue with him and with God, which requires an answer to the Father and to each other.48 Worshipers grow as disciples when they are admonished and corrected by preaching the word of God. 49 I moved on to the next part of the lecture using Warren Wiersbe's teaching on mutual edification in worship. It is a life whose worship spills out of the sanctuary into daily interaction with other people and life's circumstances.

He described them in three dimensions: the inner, outer and upward dimension, which refers to a worshiper's relationship with himself, with others and with God.52 I ended this session with some guide topics for their next small group meeting.

Celebration Worship Service

Only he could make it fruitful as he worked through the lives of the participants. Third, participants' attitudes toward intercultural evangelism were measured after the seminar. They serve as catalysts and leaders to continue the church's cross-cultural evangelism ministry after the end of this project.

Small group meetings during the week further enhanced the learning experience of the participants.

THE LEADERS’ ORIENTATION, MARCH 4, 2012

The forms must be completed before and after the implementation of the project. The objective is to assess any changes in participants through training and project implementation. The results of the surveys would guide the pastor and leaders to understand the strengths and weaknesses of the project.

Leaders will use the outcome of the survey to improve church ministry strategy.

THE PARTICIPANTS’ ORIENTATION, MARCH 11, 2012

INTRODUCTION TO PERSONAL EVANGELISM, MARCH 18, 2012

Regardless of the method used to reach people, a passion for souls is the critical factor in personal evangelism. A passion for souls has as its source our experience of salvation and a deep love for the Lord Jesus Christ. Paul had the inner motivation for the love of Christ that compelled him to share the gospel (2 Cor 5:14).

PREPARATION FOR PERSONAL EVANGELISM, MARCH 25, 2012

We must share the Gospel with compassion for lost people, with courage and complete trust in the power of the Holy Spirit to convict and convert people.

STRATEGIES OF PERSONAL EVANGELISM, APRIL 1, 2012

It is living your Christian life and sharing the gospel as you trust God for the results. 5.

PRACTICUM OF PERSONAL EVANGELISM, APRIL 7, 2012

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord" (Rom 6:23). Evangelism is engaged in spiritual warfare that requires the power of the Holy Spirit. To learn to share the gospel is to cooperate with the Holy Spirit by allowing him to work in us and through us.

CROSS-CULTURAL COMMUNICATION AMONG ANGLOS

The cultural characteristics of the Angles would enhance the presentation of the gospel as it is.

CROSS-CULTURAL COMMUNICATION AMONG AFRICAN AMERICANS

Despite the dark past of African Americans' ancestors, the current generation had strived to strive in all aspects of their lives, including their relationship with their Creator. The messenger of the gospel would do well to be sensitive to their past and be so.

CROSS-CULTURAL COMMUNICATION AMONG FILIPINOS

Knowing and understanding them better would help you build relationships and determine the best approach to present the gospel. 5. Discuss some obstacles you have encountered in the transition to effective cross-cultural communication. His message is best understood when communicated with cultural understanding and a desire to build relationships with people who are different from us.

And it is precisely these skills and genuine appreciation for all people that the world desperately needs to find.”5 People want to hear and understand the gospel message when it is communicated with clarity and cultural sensitivity.

DISCIPLESHIP AND CHURCH GROWTH, MAY 20, 2012

Only servants through whom you came to faith—as the Lord assigned to each his task" (1 Cor 3:5). 6Basic Training for Church Planters,"Growing Believers in the Faith: The Disciple's Role and Task"(Alpharetta, GA: North American Mission Board of the SBC, 2003), 73.

FELLOWSHIP AND CHURCH GROWTH, MAY 27, 2012

They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer” (Acts 2:42). Disciple makers will do well to take advantage of the effectiveness of discipleship in community when people tend to be more receptive to admonition, correction, and instruction from the Word of God.

MINISTRY AND CHURCH GROWTH, JUNE 3, 2012

Not so with you. On the contrary, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, and whoever will be first, let him be your slave" (Matthew 20:26-27). Whatever you do, work with all your heart, as working for God, not for men, because you know that you will receive an inheritance from God as a reward. God-given gifts are intended to be used for the edification of the recipient and the entire body of Christ and for the expansion of God's kingdom.

The church ministry of discipleship plays a vital role in helping each individual member to discover and identify, develop, use and maximize the use of their gifts. 7.

WORSHIP AND CHURCH GROWTH, JUNE 10, 2012

Worship that pleases God requires the dedication of our total being to his blessed will. Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of the mercy of God, to present your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and acceptable to God - this is your spiritual act of worship" (Rom 12:2) . It is a life whose worship overflows beyond the Hall of Worship into his daily life.

CELEBRATION WORSHIP SERVICE, JUNE 17, 2012

Min Project

It underscores the importance of understanding the cultural, historical, and religious backgrounds of the three racial components of IBC. The seminar covers three main topics: (1) evangelism, (2) cross-cultural communication, and (3) discipleship and church growth.
