1 Listening 1. Practice listening to a variety of audio materials:
• Engage students in podcasts on different topics, such as business, technology, culture, or education.
• Invite them to watch TED talks or online lectures on platforms like TED.com.
• Play records of news broadcasts from various English- speaking countries to expose them to different accents and topics.
2. Focus on understanding main ideas, details, implied meanings, and speaker attitudes:
• Assign students to listen to short audio clips and summarize the main idea and key details in writing or verbally.
• Ask students to practice identifying implied meanings and speaker attitudes by listening to dialogues and noting changes in tone, emphasis, or mood.
3. Work on improving listening comprehension skills through regular practice with TOEIC-style listening exercises and practice tests:
• Assign students to complete TOEIC-style listening exercises from preparation books or online resources, focusing on different question types and task formats.
• Ask students to take full-length TOEIC practice tests under timed conditions to simulate the exam experience and assess their progress.
• Review together students’ answers and identify any areas of weakness or misunderstanding to target for further practice and improvement.
4. Ask the students to listen the English song to

2 Speaking 1. Role-play exercises:
• Assign roles and scenarios to students, such as customer service interactions, team meetings, or job interviews, and have them engage in role-play conversations.
• Create real-life scenarios based on business situations and have students act out the dialogue, focusing on effective communication and language use.
2. Group discussions:
• Divide students into small groups and provide them with discussion topics related to business, current events, or personal experiences. Encourage each student to actively participate in the discussion and express their opinions.
• Conduct debates on controversial topics and encourage students to present and defend their viewpoints, fostering critical thinking and persuasive speaking skills.
3. Presentation practice:
• Assign presentation topics to students and have them prepare and deliver short speeches on the assigned topic.
Encourage them to use visual aids, such as slides or posters, to enhance their presentations.
• Provide feedback and constructive criticism after each presentation, focusing on areas such as clarity of speech, organization of ideas, and effectiveness of delivery.
4. Picture description tasks:
• Show students a series of pictures or images and have them describe what they see in detail, including people, objects, actions, and settings. Encourage them to use descriptive language and provide specific details.

in the passage, and use context clues to infer their meanings together with the class.
