This speciesinits generalappearance greatlyresemblescertainforms of Fusus,
and
a comparisonofmore numerous
specimensmay show
it tobelong tothat genus, althoughthe ornamentationof the whorls, as well as the sinual indication,more
clearly point to Pleurotoma.The
