ASA-1 Assessment was carried out by measuring the sufficiency of implementation with consistency, which was carried out in April 2013 by PT PRIMA MITRAJAYA MANDIRI and PT TEGUH JAYAPRIMA ABADI (MP EVANS GROUP PLC) against the requirements of the Principle and Criteria for Sustainable Palm Oil Production and the Supply Chain Requirement for CPO Mill, November 2014. The assessment was carried out using three methods: (1) document review, with the aim of observing the sufficiency of the types or substances from the requested documents; (2) interview, the purpose of which is to obtain more detailed information and cross-check information; and (3) field observation, which aims to directly observe the adequacy of implementation on site.

The company has SOP of IPM (PMM/SOP/AGRO-07, dated January 1, 2013) and the book of manuals for integrating pest control. The company also conducts socialization to the sprayer in terms of the function of PPE, handling PPE, through to occupational health and safety training for the spraying program. According to the field visit under the spraying program, the company applied pesticides using knapsack/spray equipment (not aerial dispersal). The company has drawn up an occupational health and safety plan as described in the work program of the occupational health and safety guidance committee.
The company is documenting the occupational health and safety program as written to the OHS Steering Committee on a routine basis (every quarter).
PRINCIPLE 5: ENVIRONMENTAL RESPONSIBILITY AND CONSERVATION OF NATURAL RESOURCES AND BIODIVERSITY
According to the result of field observation, all workers have had a labor social security program (Jamsostek), the wage payment refers to the standard, the housing complex is given to the worker including electricity and clean water, the school transport is given to the workers' children, and the workers have received cultivation technique and mill operation training (the workers are able to describe the work technically correctly). According to the result of the surveillance in March 2015 in Mahakam Estate, the HCV area is safe. The company has several SOP regarding utilization of mill waste water, compost production using BAR Formula (Biologic Aerobic Respiration Technologi).According to the SOP, the raw materials for compost production are EFB and POME generated by Benua Puhun Mill.

Benua PuhunMill has the proven documentation for the RSPO certified and non-certified FFB receipt and processing which is the SOP for RSPO Sustainability for Estate No. The FFB sent to the mill must be accompanied by the FFB covering letter, which contains the information about the Estate Name / Department / Block, date of delivery, origin of the FFB, transport and vehicle police number, estimation of the amount of FFB and actual volume (if any weights in estate). The record of the weigher for the sustainable FFB is stamped with certification code, mill name, supply chain model.
The inspection on FFB cover letters and other letters is done by the security officer. It will then be weighed by the weighbridge operator and the weighbridge ticket will then be printed and it will be stored on the computerized system containing the information of the origin of the FFB (estate origin/section/block/, vehicle police number, type of vehicle, quantity of the FFB, weight of the FFB, date, time when the FFB was received, number of FFB cover letter, Total Certified Product). The weighbridge operator ensures that the incoming FFB is stamped with certified or non-certified in relation to the FFB cover letter and it will be returned to the estate.
