Tentative Programme for the Workshop on
“Real-time Nationwide Low-Cost Sensor Network for Air Quality Monitoring”
Goal: The primary goal of the workshop is to bring Indian researchers working in the area of realtime low cost sensor-based air quality monitoring together to have discussions on potential of, and challenges in, this emerging technology while focusing on sensing, sense making, networking and data analytics to make it highly scalable and citizen-centric. We also aim to be able to provide a consensual viewpoint, end of the day, whether the technology, as on its own or in combination with conventional monitoring techniques, is mature for nationwide air quality monitoring and can be used for regulatory purpose.
