一卷에 대한 譯註 작업을 진행하였다.｢
燕翼篇｣은 명청시기 각 지역의 여러 풍습과 예절, 문화에 대해 작가가 직접 보고 경험하며 느낀 점을 상세하게 기술하고 있다. 李淦은 작품 에서 중국을 세 개의 큰 구역으로 나누어 산동, 산서, 하남, 섬서 지역 을 북방으로 정하고, 강남, 절강, 강서, 복건, 호광을 동남 지역으로, 마지막으로 사천, 광동, 광서, 운남, 귀주 지역을 서남지역으로 구분하 였다. 각 지역마다 성현의 도리와 예에 비춰보았을 때 예에 어긋난 부 분을 지적하고 옳은 부분을 적극 칭찬함으로써 후대 자손들에게 올바 른 예를 지켜 행할 것을 강조하였다. 특히 그는 작품을 통해 명청시기 민간에서 장례를 치르는 동안 극단을 불러 연극을 공연하는 잘못된 세 태를 지적하거나 친구를 사귀고 아랫사람을 대할 때에 주의해야 할 점 과 각 지역의 음식과 복식문화의 특징, 예의에 어긋나지 않는 관혼상 제 예절 등에 대해 자세하게 기록하고 있다. 우리는 이 작품을 통해 명청 시기 사회와 문화를 종합적으로 이해할 수 있어, 중국 지역문화 연구에 있어 유용한 자료라고 할 수 있다.83) 丁拐豹子, 朱窝新快, 廿八點: 모두 도박놀이기구인 주사위로 하는 놀이 명칭 이다.

Yan Yi Pian(燕翼篇) is a comprehensive record that documents the regional's natural scenery and socioculture during the late Ming and early Qing dynasties, and can be used as a reference for the study of Chinese regional culture.
Author Lee Jin was a learned person since young. Yan Yi Pian(燕翼篇) provides concrete records of the multi-cultural characteristics of each region’s diet, marriage, rituals, customs, entertainment, social relations and other fields.
Yan Yi Pian(燕翼篇) was included in Tan Ji Cong Shu(檀几丛书) and Cong-shu Ji-cheng Xu-pian(丛书集成续篇), compiled by Zhang Chao and Wang Zhuo from the Qing Dynasty and have been passed down since then.
This translated text is based on Tan Ji Cong Shu(檀几丛书) by Zhang Chao, published by Shanghai Ancient Books Publisher (上海籍出版社）in 1992. Tan Ji Cong Shu(檀几丛书), inscribed by Xin-an Zhang-shi Xia-ju-tang(新安张氏霞举堂), was first published and printed in the Qing Dynasty (34th year during the reign of Emperor Kang Xi). This published edition is currently placed in depository in the Shanghai Library. Annotation
