and other services within the context of Clean
Development Mechanism (CDM).
Services under Carbon Finance Support Facility
What are the services of LANDBANK under the CFSF?
• Serves as PoA’s Coordinating and Managing Entity (C/ME)
• Arrange the pre-assessment/
due diligence activities
• Prepare the CPA – Design Document and CDM SD Form
• Facilitate the DNA endorsement
• Arrange validation / verification activities with a DOE
• Provide support and assistance on CDM documentation and monitoring
• Provide financing for the installation of the biogas digester / methane recovery system

Eligibility criteria – PoA on Landfill Gas to Energy
" For project baseline, there is an atmospheric /
partial release of LFG
" For project activity:
" Landfill gas is captured and it is flared and/or used to
produce energy (e.g. electricity).
" The solid waste disposal site where the waste would
be dumped can be clearly identified
" At the project site, there are no hazardous wastes
" Maximum total installed capacity of energy generated
by the CPA is 15 MW.

" LBP conducts initial assessment (PoA eligibility

(ERPA) signed on January 14, 2010 with World Bank for the purchase of emission reductions from municipal waste management and livestock waste treatment projects for the first 250,000 CERs from the projects until 2013.
