Pengembangan sistem informasi untuk memenuhi kebutuhan perguruan tinggi saat ini semakin marak. Melihat skala dan kompleksitasnya, sistem informasi perguruan tinggi, khususnya dengan student body 10 ribu lebih dapat dikatagorikan sebagai sistem informasi enterprise. Pada pengembangan sistem informasi enterprais, strategi bertahap dalam kurun waktu yang panjang, menimbulkan versi aplikasi yang banyak. Sehingga mengintegrasikan aplikasi dalam rentang versi teknologi yang berbeda menjadi kendala, jika menggunakan prinsip integrasi yang menyatukan teknologi. Oleh karena itu, pada makalah ini dibahas tentang bagaimana strategi integrasi aplikasi menggunakan pendekatan enterprise application integration (EAI). Dengan menggunakan EAI, integrasi dapat dilakukan di tingkat data/ informasi, presenasi/ akses dan fungsional/ proses bisnis. Pola yang diterapkan juga dapat memilih pola mediasi maupun federasi. Pada kasus Universitas Katolik Parahyangan (UNPAR) diterapkan integrasi di sisi data menggunakan prinsip data integration dengan proses ETL (extract-transform-load) dan data warehousing. Integrasi di sisi proses bisnis diterapkan dengan workflow dan dari sisi presentasi menggunakan pola federasi dengan menggunakan web portal. Dari model integrasi yang diusulkan diinventarisasi portofolio teknologi free open source software (FOSS) yang dapat digunakan untuk mengimplementasikan model tersebut.

Pemerintah telah memiliki banyak layanan E-government bagi masyarakatnya, namun layanan ini seolah berdiri sendiri, belum terintegrasi. Aplikasi E-KTP, SIM (Polri), Layanan kesehatan (BPJS) dan aplikasi layanan pemerintah lainnya seharusnya dapat terintegrasi dengan baik untuk meningkatkan kinerja pelayanan publik. Oleh karenanya diperlukan sebuah arsitektur Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) sebagai middleware untuk mengintegrasikan berbagai macam aplikasi yang sudah ada. Kolaborasi antar aplikasi dan layanan akan sangat beragam sehingga memerlukan middleware yang bisa beradaptasi dengan banyaknya perbedaan kebutuhan. Paper ini memberikan sebuah arsitektur dalam membangun sebuah middleware sebagai fungsi dari EAI. Performa, multi-agent, fleksibilitas layanan serta keamanan menjadi syarat mutlak dari middleware untuk pemerintahan. Untuk mendesain arsitektur middleware digunakan pendekatan interoperability. Dengan kemampuan interoperability yang baik, maka pertukaran dan pengintegrasian data dapat dilakukan. EAI/middleware untuk pemerintah memiliki beberapa point kritis yang perlu di perhatikan seperti faktor keamanan, interoperability, perubahan kebutuhan serta beragamnya layanan. Manajemen user, keamanan akses, manajemen layanan, multi platform web-service, pertukaran data, enkripsi XML/JSON merupakan komponen dari middleware yang penting dalam EAI untuk E-Government.

Bedasarkan permasalahan diatas, Bapersip Provinsi Jawa Timur perlu mengintegrasikan data dari database aplikasi sistem manajemen perpustakaan yang ada di setiap Kantor Perpustakaan, Arsip dan Dokumentasi di setiap kabupaten/kota di seluruh Jawa Timur ke dalam sebuah penyimpanan terpusat seperti gudang data (data warehouse) sehingga diperoleh data akurat yang memudahkan bagi Bapersip Provinsi Jawa Timur dalam menganalisa informasi dan kemudian dapat mengambil strategi yang tepat dalam Pengembangan Budaya Baca dan Pembinaan Perpustakaan. Permasalahan integrasi tersebut diatas merujuk pada literatur mengenai integrasi sistem, penulis menemukan bahwa sebagai solusi atas permasalahan ini yakni Enterprise Application Integration (EAI). Dengan menerapkan EAI, semua platform yang beragam seperti sistem berbasis web dan berbasis desktop dapat terintegrasi dengan baik.

Through the process of data integration with defined data standards, the source of truth aspect emerges. Data models for EDWs usually take on a mid-level of normaliza- tion, referred to as third normal form (the same for dimensional EDW models). This makes them easier to populate and deliver data for usage. While the most common effective EDW designs are not dimensional, there are some very good dimensional models as EDWs. This requires an organization to have strong data governance and controls over the defi- nition and depth of all dimensions. The complete framework also needed to support enterprise architecture that can be well defined. In this study, TOGAF framework will be applied in BPPK. As the result, this framework will produce an enterprise architecture that contained data architecture, application architecture, technology architecture, and the implementation plan that will be used by the organization to achieve their goal.

Hierarchical design makes the whole coding architecture to adapt to different application environments, different interfaces, loosely coupled requirements, which can realize the integration model management function of the power grids. The life cycle and evaluation method of survival of unified coding architecture is proposed. It can ensure the stability and availability of the coding architecture. Abstract. The Internet of Things (IoT) vision foresees a future In- ternet encompassing the realm of smart physical objects, which offer hosted functionality as services. The role of service discovery is crucial when providing application-level, end-to-end integration. In this paper, we propose trendy : a REST ful web services based Service Discovery protocol to tackle the challenges posed by constrained domains while offering the required interoperability. It provides a service selection tech- nique to offer the appropriate service to the user application depending on the available context information of user and services. Furthermore, it employs a demand-based adaptive timer and caching mechanism to reduce the communication overhead and to decrease the service invoca- tion delay. trendy ’s grouping technique creates location-based teams of nodes to offer service composition. Our simulation results show that the employed techniques reduce the control packet overhead, service invoca- tion delay and energy consumption. In addition, the grouping technique provides the foundation for group-based service mash-ups and localises control traffic to improve scalability.
