Research conducted by Rego (2010) entitled "Metadata-Driven Knowledge Management and Web-Based Learning Information Systems towards Web / E-Learning 3.0". This research is a qualitative research discussed about the use of e-learning media. The result of this research stated that the main purpose of e-learning system is to provide a modulator system and extensible with the adaptive and knowledge management capabilities for students and teachers. The metadata is used to fulfill the requirements such as reusability, interoperability and multipurpose. The system provides authoring tools to define learning methods with adaptive characteristics, and tools to create a program that enables users to different roles, promoting several types of collaborative learning and group. It is also equipped with tools to take, import and evaluate learning. Metadata of management and evaluation have an important role in order to get the best results in learning and teaching process.

Abstract - This study aims to development of learning media based E-learning. This research is motivated by the lack of vocational students' learning outcomes. Students difficult to understand the subject matter due to less media used by educators that can lead to creative thinking power of the material being studied. The research method using the Research and Development (R & D) and combined with instructional design the ADDIE model (Analisys, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Feasibility studies towards learning of E-learning by media experts showed an average of 4.4 and expressed "very decent" and materi testing by experts showed an average of 4.4 expressed "very decent". Testing phase one to students by an average of 4.5, and are categorized as "Very Good" and the Testing phase two average of 4.5, and are categorized as "Very Good". Based on the results of feasibility and testing of media experts and material experts as well as the students, it can be inferred media based learning E-learning is very good and deserve to be used as a medium of learning.

Teacher’s ability, expertise,experience, attitude and delivery pedagogy will definitely help in designing the useful content for their respective courses. Learning media is considered to be an important area and will continue as important learning platform in near future especially in skill based learning programs (Nazir, 2012). Moreover, Chaudari (2013) says that Computer assisted Instruction (CAI) is a supplementary instructional strategy in effective teaching,This may help teachers in organizing meaningful teaching learning experiences and adopt innovative methods and approaches in teaching.In the context of education, one could suggest that Macromedia Flash is an open canvas where teachers create the contentthat contain animations, graphics, text and sound. This means producing interactive, engaging and pedagogical resources for students. Therefore, the media development using Macromedia Flash animation will be made with the narrative. It aims to achieve the expected learning objectives. The Development of CAI-based learning media using macromedia flash software with expecting can be improving student learning outcome, in accordance with the context around the lives of student. In SMP Negeri 3 Medan, Learning by CAI-based learning media using macromedia flash software was never implemented yet. CAI-based learning media expected to help students to understand interaction in ecosystem topic and improving students’ learning outcome.

Development of an android based physics e

Learning media, as means of transferring a message to learners, employ, among others, animation. Animation is beneficial in learning media for indicating objects related to ideas, explaining concepts that are difficult to understand, explaining abstract concepts by making them concrete with animation, and showing procedural steps clearly (Munir, 2012: 318; Abdullah, Zakaria, & Halim, 2012; Surjono, 2015; Dalal, 2014). That claim is strengthened by several research results indicating the occurrence of improvement in learners‟ cognitive ability when learning, by means of several animations, conceptual understanding requiring visual presentation or appearance. Research by Dalacosta, Paparrigopulou, Palyvos, & Spyrellis (2009) report findings that “… use of animated cartoons significantly increases the young students‟ knowledge and understanding of specific science concepts, which are normally difficult to comprehend and often caus e misconceptions to them”. According to Arsyad & Sujaini (2004), the grades obtained by learners using instructional programs with animation addition undergo a significant improvement compared to the grades obtained by them before using the programs. From results of research by Setiawan, Isnaeni, Budijantoro, & Marianti (2015), it is concluded that interactive digital multimedia effectively improve students‟ activities and achievement in learning the excretion system. It has become the basis for the need to develop an electronically-based media with content combining text and animation or simulation.

This research is aimed to produce E-learning media based on valid, practical, and effective video for Communication and information technology subject. The background of the research is based on the writer observation in SMA N 2 Sungai Penuh. Media development is aimed to help the students to understand the topic about internet by providing online videos which can be accessed anywhere and anytime. This research is a research development which used IDI (Instructional Development Institute) model. To prove the validity, practicability, and the effectiveness of this Video-based E-learning media, the writer conducts expert test, one to one evaluation, small group evaluation, and filed test by observing the learning process and learning result of the student. This design is validated by two experts; Video- based E-learning media design expert and Video-based E-learning media development expert. The Video- based E-learning media is tested to 31 students of XI class semester 1 at SMA N 2 Sungai Penuh to figure out the practicability, and the effectiveness of this media. The result of this research shows that Video- based E-learning media in term of E-learning access is (93%). Material aspect is valid (93%), performance aspect is valid (93%), Video-based E-learning media aspect is valid (93%), and video aspect of media E-learning is valid (94%). The level of practicability, by the teacher is valid (96%) and by the student is valid as well (94%). Based on the above data it can be concluded that the Media E -learning Based Video was valid .

COMPARISON OF STUDENTS LEARNING OUTCOME AND MEMORY RETENTION TAUGHT BY VARIOUS MEDIA ON SPERMATOPHYTE TOPIC GRADE X SMA NEGERI 1 SIDIKALANG 2013/2014 ACADEMIC YEAR.

This research is aim to know the effect and to compare which media is the best learning media on students’ learning outcome and memory retention on Spermatophytes topic. The research was held in SMAN 1 Sidikalang 2013/2014 academic years. The population of this research is 333 students of Grade X and the sample was taken randomly with cluster random sampling consist of 26 students who were taught with audiovisual media (X-1), 26 students who were taught with mind mapping media (X-2), and 25 students who were taught using two dimension image media (X-3). Thirty multiple choice and four essay questions were used to measure students’ learning outcome and 21 days after post- test, the same test was given to measure students’ memory retention. The result showed th at learning media significantly affected the students’ learning outcome (F = 36.25; P = 0.00) and students who were taught with audiovisual media, 95.46 ± 2.74 ( � ± SD) was significantly higher than students who were taught with two dimension image media, 89.68 ± 6.12 and students who were taught with two dimension image media was significantly higher than students who were taught with mind mapping media 85.16 ± 46. The result showed that learning media was significantly affected the students’ memory reten tion (² = 47.98; P = 0.00) and students who were taught with audiovisual media, 81.46 ± 3.43 ( � ± SD) was significantly higher than students who were taught with mind mapping media, 76.63 ± 4.38 and students who were taught with mind mapping media was significantly higher than students who were taught with two dimension image media, 61 ± 9.22. So it can be concluded that learning media was significantly affected students’ learning outcome and memory retention on grade X SMAN 1 Sidikalang 2013/2014 academic years.

Integrating Information and Communication Technology (ICT) product in asychronous learning was the right step to improve the skills of effective communication, problem solving, thinking critically, creatively, and reflectively. E-learning was a form of media learning that integrates ICT products. E-learning was equipped with learning management features such as communication facilities, monitoring, and evaluation. Edmodo was an alternative medium of e-learning that provide good learning management, easy to operate, and facilitate large digital classroom. An experiment was conducted to test Edmodo as an asynchronous learning medium. The experiment used pre-experimental research design, one-group pretest-posttest type. Experiment was conducted in Project Management of Information System (PMIS) lecture, Faculty of Computer Science, Brawijaya University. PMIS was subjects that equip students with the competencies of effective communication, problem solving, critical thinking, and creativity in planning a project. The purpose of the experiment was whether the use of Edmodo could improve the quality of project planning and whether Edmodo was an effective learning media for asynchronous learning process. The experiment results showed that the use of Edmodo as an asychronous e-learning media to improve the quality of the project in PMIS course was very good. It is proven that increased quality of project planning and the value of effectiveness was very high.

Dari indikator-indikator pada variabel ekspektasi kinerja terlihat bahwa siswa percaya bahwa Quipper School mempunyai kegunaan untuk membantu dan mempermudah siswa dalam mendapatkan keuntungan dalam proses belajarnya. Hal ini didukung dengan data pada tabel III.19 halaman III-38 mengenai kekuatan variabel ekspektasi kinerja yang dilihat dari nilai rata-rata skor hasil dari penjumlahan dan pembagian dari banyaknya pertanyaan untuk variabel ekspektasi kinerja. Dari data tersebut dapat diketahui bahwa rata-rata skor pada variabel ekspektasi kinerja sebesar 4,05. Hal itu menandakan bahwa skor tersebut masuk dalam kategori tinggi, sehingga dapat diartikan bahwa ekspektasi kinerja memiliki pengaruh positif yang signifikan terhadap minat pemanfaatan pada Quipper School, dimana siswa MAN Jombang meyakini bahwa dengan menggunakan Quipper School dapat membantu kegiatan belajar mereka dengan memberikan keuntungan bagi mereka seperti ketersediaan materi- materi pelajaran yang dapat membantunya belajar menjadi lebih mudah dan dapat membantunya menyelesaikan tugas dari sekolah dengan mudah dan cepat. Siswa yang merasa mendapatkan keuntungan dari penggunaan Quipper School akan semakin berniat menggunakan Quipper School untuk menjadi media pendukung mereka dalam belajar. Hal ini berarti semakin tinggi ekspektasi kinerja siswa, maka akan mempengaruhi minat siswa untuk memanfaatkan Quipper School dalam belajar.
