The aim this research are knowing combination of additional concentration of EM4 and goat manure appropriate concentration to produce good compost. Compost consists of oyster mushrooms baglog’s waste, goat dung, and EM4 until evenly mixed. The composting process can be accelerated with the help of EM4 (Effective Microorganism 4). This study examines the effect of adding EM4 concentrations of 0%, 0.1% and 0.2% and the addition of goat manure concentration of 0%, 20%, and 40%. Processing of the data in this study using analysis of variance (ANOVA), if the real difference α = 0.05 and then continued DMRT 5% when tested with no significant difference BNT 5%. Selection of the best treatment is obtained by using the method of Multiple Attributes. The best treatment of this research is based on the ratio C/N, C, N, P2O5, K2O contained in K2E1W2 treatment, namely the addition of goat manure concentration of 20% and addition of EM4 concentration of 0% with a twice reversal for a month (28 days). Another effect of reduced lipid peroxidation occurring during ROS reduction is the reduced consumption of glutathione in cells. This results in decreased levels of glutathione in hepatocyte cells. This concept supports the findings of this study, which increases the level of liver glutathione in the induced group of paraquat and oyster mushrooms. In addition to the decrease in ROS, polyphenols contained in oyster mushrooms, can increase the activity of ã-glutamylcysteine synthetase (ã-GCS) enzyme which catalyzes the synthesis of glutathione (Masella et al., 2005). Oyster mushrooms also contain cysteine amino acids (Jaworska and Bernas, 2011). Cysteine is a precursor to the synthesis of glutathione. The consequences of increased ã-GCS enzyme activity, cysteine availability and reduced glutathione levels due to paraquat exposure are increased glutathione synthesis, so that glutathione levels in cells will increase.

respondents of marketing intermediaries by following the marketing channels. The data was collected from January to August 2013, included the primary and secondary data, and were analyzed by analysis of farming income and marketing system efficiency. The results showed that oyster mushroom farming in Lampung Province was profitable, for its farmers got R /C ratio of 1.88 over cash costs and R /C ratio of 1.25 on the total cost. The market structure was formed on conventional marketing oligopsonistic, while at network marketing was an oligopoly. The behavior of the market was indicated by the price formation process that was determined by farmer’s bargaining for network marketing. The market performance showed that the conventional marketing had four marketing channels, with uneven rasio profit margin. Similarly, the benefits and costs of network marketing was formed by the uneven upline and dowline groups, and oyster mushrooms marketing margin without forming network group upline and downline network was also uneven.

The test results stated that the value of the temperature and humidity are within the design range between 24-28 o C temperature and humidity values in the period 80% for 3 days and are not affected to the outside air which may impair the growth of fungi.

Pemanfaatan jamur tiram putih di masyarakat hanya sebatas sebagai sayuran makan atau produk jajanan. Salah satu usaha untuk meningkatkan nilai mutu dari jamur tiram putih adalah dengan memanfaatkannya menjadi produk yang bernilai lebih di masyarakat, yakni produk berupa permen ekstrak jamur tiram putih yang berkhasiat antikolesterol. Ekstrak jamur tiram putih telah terbukti secara in vivo melalui hewan uji tikus Sprague Dawley hiperkoleterolemia, dengan dosis 30 mg/kg BB dan 60 mg/kg BB dapat menurunkan konsentrasi kolesterol dalam darah tikus hiperkolesterolemia sebesar 53.89% dan 66.43%. Mengacu pada uraian di atas, inovasi produk yang akan diusulkan untuk program PKM bidang Kewirausahaan ini adalah ‘ OYBON ’ ( Oyster Bonbon), permen sehat dari jamur tiram putih yang merupakan jenis pangan fungsional.

Amplified fragment length polymorphism diversity of cultivated white oyster mushroom pleurotus ostreatus

USX isolate had the third highest differences from the majority of studied isolates. The USX and USO isolates are the strains isolated from Indonesian indigenous mushrooms. The AFLP analysis showed the differences between those two isolates. the USX isolate had different fruiting bodies texture than that of USO isolate (Mumpuni 2007, personal communication). It was suggested that USX isolate belonged to Pleurotus sp., but it was not the species of P. osteratus. This AFLP data supported that opinion, however to confirm this indication it is needed an interfertility test of USX isolate and a P ostreatus strain. Correlation and clustering analyses of the isolates instead of BNK, AMD, and USX isolates appeared that BMJ isolate was very distinct from the other isolates (Figure 4). The BJM isolate was originally from indigenous Kalimantan mushroom collected from nature and sold in a traditional market. Two other isolates isolated from nature were USO and PGN isolates. Those isolates were originally from University of General Sudirman (UNSOED) Purwokerto and Research Center for Forest Product, Bogor, Indonesia respectively. The BJM, OSU, and PGN isolates were shown distinctly different on either correlation plane or clustering dendogram (Figure 4 & 5). The dissimilarity between those three indigenous isolates can be interpreted as the diversity of three regional origins.
