The dashed boxes in the block diagram separate the three main parts of the USART (listed from the top): Clock generator, Transmitter and Receiver. Control Registers are shared by all units. The clock generation logic consists of synchronization logic for exter- nal clock input used by synchronous slave operation, and the baud rate generator. The XCK (transfer clock) pin is only used by synchronous transfer mode. The Transmitter consists of a single write buffer, a serial Shift Register, Parity Generator and control logic for handling different serial frame formats. The write buffer allows a continuous transfer of data without any delay between frames. The Receiver is the most complex part of the USART module due to its clock and data recovery units. The recovery units are used for asynchronous data reception. In addition to the recovery units, the Receiver includes a parity checker, control logic, a Shift Register and a two level receive buffer (UDR). The Receiver supports the same frame formats as the Transmitter, and can detect Frame Error, Data OverRun and Parity Errors.
Load demand balance is considered as equality constraints that need to be satisfied by the generation level to meet the required demand for the entire period range. The spinning reserve can augment equality constraints to account for sudden power surge and have been considered in this research study. While ramp rates are considered as inequality constraints presented to control the rate of loading and deloading of the generating units during production managements and according to the variation of the load profile of the committed units.
Methods: A cross sectional population-based study was performed in 5 provinces, in Indonesia. Respondents of validation study on blindness data of national basic health survey 2013 (RISKESDAS 2013), who were above 18 years old with severe low vision (BCVA ≥ 3/60 to 6/60) and blind (BCVA<3/60), were included in this study. Questionnaires for socioeconomic status and a questionnaire from the national eye institute visual function questionnaire 25 (NEI VFQ 25) for visual function were administered. Total scores of NEI-VFQ25 were compared based on severity of visual impairment, educational level, occupation, literacy adequacy, income level, and residency. Data analysis was using independent T-test or Mann-Whitney test, and Chi square test.
This study aims at comparing accounting and finance perspective to predict earnings persistence. Accounting perspective predicts that current earning components affect the future earnings, while finance perspective predicts that current dividends affect the future earnings. The results show that component of earnings more persistence rather than total earning, and persistenceof earnings are also showed by changes of dividend. The results of this study that changes in dividend policy have information contents about future earnings. Increase in dividend payment show that firm believe that firm have better prospect in the future thus able to achieve better future performance. This result confirm prospect theory. This research also find manager use dividend policy to convey relevant information to investor. Managers believe that firms have good opportunity in the future and achieve higher performance. In this case, managers pays higher dividend to give signal to investor that firm will achieve better performance. Firms using dividend policy to give signal to investor to convey relevant information. This result confirm dividend signalling theory. The results also confirm agency theory studying the relationship between management (agent) and shareholder (principal) and assuming the more unite the shareholder, the more powerful shareholders’ position rather management’s position. The principal interested to both earnings distribution and increasing in future earnings, whereas management prefer increasing permanent earnings with increasing investment on prospective project rather than dividing dividend. The findings of the study show that increase in current earnings and dividend indicates increase in future earnings and dividends. The results of the study show that accrual-cash flow perspective better indicating quality of earnings than dividend signaling perspective.
Setelah ditentukan ketajaman penglihatan jarak jauh, dilakukan pengukuran ketajaman penglihatan jarak dekat (membaca). Terdapat perbedaan jarak standar baca. (8)
Perhaps the most important thing about the above description of Dr. G’s work is what is not there. There is no evidence that Dr. G thought there was anything wrong with having gone in all of those unhelpful directions or with having thought that some theorems were false, that he later discovered were true. What seemed to matter to him was the generation of ideas. If those ideas resulted in errors, one fixed them and learned from them. He exhibited remarkable persistence and a willingness to try argument directions that he clearly didn’t know ahead of time would be helpful, and he altered directions when the need arose. It seems clear that Dr. G had the needed persistence, which was probably supported by a sense of self-efficacy with respect to his own mathematical research.
Based on signaling theory it can be argued that high quality firms will produce persistent earnings while low quality firms will produce non-persistent earnings. Investors prefer to give premium value to firms with high quality earnings, while making discount on firms with low quality firms. To reach high value from investors, management has incentive to implement prospect theory in such a way that the earnings look persistent. Another way is to change their dividend policy and then receive share value higher then what should be obtained. This research examine component of firm’s earnings to disclose implementation of prospect theory. Based on assumption of prospect theory, investors prefer to invest in the firms having persistent earnings than firms with fluctuate earnings (Koonce & Mercer, 2005). Management uses his discretion to achieve certain numbers of earnings. As a result, the earnings will be persistent instead of high level of earnings followed by decrease of earnings (certainty effect). For firms showing decrease of earnings or even loss, they will manage their accrual so that earnings in their report will be positive and look persistent (reflection effect). Hypothesis testing in this research is divided into three stages: (1) test of earnings and component of earnings over future earnings, called as “accrual-cash flow” approach, (2) test of dividend over future earnings called as “dividend signaling approach”, and (3) test of earnings and dividend over future earnings that is combination of “accrual-cash flow” and “dividend signaling” approach.
The use of computers in the millennial era turned out to have a negative impact on human health. One of the negative effects that is intensive is a disorder called Computer Vision Syndrome (CVS). This research is an analytical study with a cross sectional approach. The number of samples that meet the requirements is 52 respondents with sampling technique using exhaustive sampling, and to determine the factors associated with CVS incidence, continuity correction test is tested and fisher's exact test. The results showed that the incidence of CVS for employees of Computer Users in the Office of PT. Telkom Indonesia, Tbk of 57.7%. Based on the variable eye distance to the monitor (ρ value = 0.028) and light intensity (ρ value = 0.027) has a relationship with the incidence of CVS.
Specific study program is a brief description of the study program that functions to communicate between the students and the stakeholders. Specific study program indicates explicitly the desired results of the learning process. It helps students to understand: teaching and evaluation methods used. It makes a link between a program organized and professional qualifications as the output of graduates as well as its influence on their career level. it helps students in determining the courses will be taken. It is not only as a label of university and as an institution’s responsibility to the public, but also to provide stimulus to the faculties to understand and to implement the educational goals and learning outcomes of the program being organized.
Machine vision system is actually to create a model of the real world from images. A machine vision system recovers useful information about a scene from its two- dimensional projections. Since images are two-dimensional projections of the three- dimensional world, the information is not directly available and must be recovered. To recover the information, knowledge about the objects in the scene and projection geometry is required. The goal is to build computer-based vision systems which perform the same functions as the human eye.
Setyawan. The data of this research are in the form of English words which contain derivational affixes from English novel in“9 Summers 10 Autumns, from the City of Apples to the Big Apple” by Iwan Setyawan. The steps are as finding the English novel in“9 Summers 10 Autumns, from the City of Apples to the Big Apple” by Iwan Setyawan, reading the novel, noting the words which contain derivational in “9 Summers 10 Autumns, from the City of Apples to the Big Apple” novel by Iwan Setyawan. In the study the writer performs some steps in analyzing data, such as the writer reads the English novel in“9 Summers 10 Autumns, from the City of Apples to the Big Apple” by Iwan Setyawan, gives an underline to the English words which contain English derivational affixes, and the writer identifies the derivational affixes process that occurs on English words.
in the reticuloendothelial system. This bilirubin is in an unconjugated form and is released into the circulation and transported to hepatocytes where it combines enzymatically with glucuronic acid, producing bilirubin mono- and diglucuronides. The conjugation reaction is catalyzed by uridine GLSKRVSKDWH JOXFXURQRV\OWUDQVIHUDVH 8*7$ 0RQRDQGGLJOXFXURQLGHVDUHH[FUHWHGLQWRWKHELOH and the gut. In newborns, much of the conjugated bilirubin in the intestine is hydrolyzed back into unconjugated bilirubin (UCB), a reaction catalyzed by the enzyme beta-glucuronidase present in intestinal mucosa. UCB is reabsorbed into the blood stream by way of the enterohepatic circulation. 1,2 3UHYLRXV
topic should be considered. As far as we know, Clausen et al. (2012) is the only study that distinguishes among different sources ofpersistence in both types of innovation. The availability of a panel-data of more than 20 years and the use of a discrete-time duration model allow us to accomplish this task and to make the distinction between the degree ofpersistence in product and process innovation. Building upon the dynamic capabilities framework, we present a model that examines the role of learning capabilities in innovation persistence. In this regard, we argue that the ability to be constant in R&D activities, appropriability conditions, technological opportunities and previous episodes of innovation are crucial to current innovative behavior. Nevertheless, these learning capabilities may affect persistence differently considering both types of innovation activities. Hence, the main purpose of our research is to test whether previous experience and learning capabilities have a different influence on persistence in product and process innovation.
The alteration in translation during heat stress is controlled differently in plants than in other eukaryotic organisms. In plants the repressed mR- NAs are dissociated from polysomes and are tran- siently stored in the cytoplasm (Nover et al., 1983, 1989; Apuya and Zimmerman, 1992). This trans- lation reprogramming occurs immediately upon heat-stress, with protein synthesis shifting almost exclusively to the production of hsps (Lindquist, 1981, 1986; Nover, 1991; Sierra and Zapata, 1994; Brostrom and Brostrom, 1998). Experiments with transcriptional and translational inhibitors showed that normal mRNAs are not degraded during heat shock, but are sequestered in some fashion so that they may be re-used when the heat shock response has dissipated (Barnett et al., 1980; Lindquist, 1981). For example, treatment with cycloheximide and with chloramphenicol demonstrated that hsp synthesis in spinach leaves was restricted to cytosolic ribosomes (Somers et al., 1989).
Nevertheless, Mollon (1989) write on his paper that a dichromat also have advantage. A dichromat have a better detection of targets against dappled backgrounds. Morgan et al. (1992) also write about advantage of being a dichromat. They said that dichromat surprisingly have a better vision in breaking certain kinds of color camouflage. Dichromats also had enhanced scotopic vision as compared with trichromats, which suggests dichromats can see better at under scotopic conditions, such as dusk, dawn, and moonlit nights (Verhulst & Maes 1998). This is likely to provide a selective advantage, for example because enhanced scotopic vision makes it easier to detect nocturnal predators, as humans are group- living animal who benefit from each other’s success in finding food a nd detecting predators, and to forage or fight in low light condition. At low temporal frequencies, dichromats have significantly higher (twofold) threshold for all colored stimuli than thrichromats. The advantages of dichromats in detecting high temporally modulated targets can be related to an increased number, through replacement, of the remaining L- or M-cone type (Sharpe et al. 2006). These citations showed that a dichromat is not always less than a trichromat, a dichromat also have a better side than a trichromat.
Binocular vision literally means vision with two eyes and with binocular vision, we can see the world in three dimensions even though the images that fall on both of the retina were the 2-dimensional images. Binocular vision also provide some advantages included improved visual acuity, contrast sensitivity, and visual field compared with monocular vision. Normal binocular vision requires a clear visual axis, sensory fusion, and motoric fusion. In human, the sensitive period of binocular vision development began at around 3 months of age, reaching its peak at the age of 1 to 3 years, had developed completely at the age of 4 years and gradually declined until it stops at the age of 9 years. Various obstacles, such as sensory, motoric, and central obstacles, within the reflex pathway were very likely to inhibited the development of binocular vision, especially in sensitive period during the first 2 years of life.
Understood in "the light of the master revelations," traditional contemplative terms, Herbert enjoyed the Visionof God and, knowing at least intellectually that "all things are in the divinity, and the divinity is in all things," apparently prayed for the Visions of Dame Kind and Philia; and he may have in holy communion, as suggested by "The Invitation" and other poems, confirmed the Jungian insight that in profound ways all humans are connected, one, and one, too, still more deeply with God in the mystical body of Christ. The basis for much utopian thinking and many religious utopian communities, the Visionof Philia, wherein the individual true self is joined by other true selves to form a single choir or Communion of Saints united in God's praise, leads to the City of God, here and hereafter. Augustine writes, "we do worthily approve their [the philosophers'] enjoining a wise man to live in mutual society; for how should our celestial city (the nineteenth book whereof we now hand in hand) have ever come to its origin, development, or perfection, unless the saints live all in social union?" (The City of God, XIX, 5). The mystical theology of many Church Fathers shows a mutual interacting of the mystical and ecclesiastical. And while Donne, Herbert, and Vaughan, like most devout souls, may pursue contemplative ends in predominantly solitary ways, in that love and vision which unites the self to God and to others the contemplative life and the active life eventually come together. The contemplative life may be both essential prelude to and an integral part of the active life. J. Daniélou comments that ''the mystical graces have an apostolic purpose. They are all in a sense charismatic graces. To this apostolic aspect of the mystical life there
Scenario (C) takes this one step further, this time normalizing the data into separate tables for full-time and part-time employees. Unlike scenario (A), however, these tables are related by a common EMP table that stores all of the data common to both employee types. It might seem like overkill for a single column of extra data, but a real schema with many columns specific to each type of employee would likely use this type of table structure. It presents the data in a logical form and also simplifies querying by allowing the tables to be joined together. Unfortunately, what works well for the database does not necessarily work well for an object model mapped to such a schema. Even without associations to other classes, the object-relational mapping of the domain class must now take joins between multiple tables into account. When you start to consider abstract superclasses or parent classes that are not persistent, inheritance rapidly becomes a complex issue in object-relational mapping. Not only is there a challenge with storage of the class data but the complex table relationships are also difficult to query efficiently.
