Synthetic unit hydrograph (SUH) has been widely used to estimate unit hydrograph in ungauged watershed. Synthetic Unit Hydrograph using watershed morphometric is one of the important method. The Gama 1 model is one of the synthetic unit hydrograph model which is developed in Indonesia. This model is an empirical model that usually need to be validated when applied in others different watersheds. The aim of this research is to find out the best model of synthetic unit hydrograph for Upper Ciliwung Watershed base on GAMA 1 SUH. The results show that to increased the model accuration, GAMA 1 SUH need to readjust their constants of model variables.

Metode Hidrograf Satuan Sintetik (synthetic unit hydrograph) di Indonesia merupakan metode empiris yang sebagian besar digunakan di Indonesia untuk membuat perhitungan debit banjir pada daerah yang data observasi debitnya kurang atau tidak tersedia. Berdasarkan cara-cara untuk mendapatkan hidrograf satuan pengamatan, diperlukan serangkaian data antara lain data tinggi muka air, data pengukuran debit, data hujan harian dan data hujan jam-jaman dari ARR. Hidrograf Satuan Sintetis ini dikembangkan berdasarkan pemikiran bahwa pengalihragaman hujan menjadi aliran baik akibat pengaruh translasi maupun tampungan, dipengaruhi oleh sistem daerah pengalirannya. Hidrograf Satuan Sintetis merupakan suatu cara untuk memperkirakan penggunaan konsep hidrograf satuan dalam suatu perencanaan yang tidak tersedia pengukuran-pengukuran langsung mengenai hidrograf banjir. Hidrograf Satuan Sintetis (HSS) yang telah dikembangkan oleh para pakar antara lain HSS Snyder, HSS Nakayasu, HSS SCS, HSS Gamma I, HSS Limantara dan lain-lain.

Evaluation of Drainage Channels Capacity in Ambon City: A Case Study on Wai Batu Merah Watershed Flooding - Scientific Repository

The main input data of unsteady flow analysis in the main river besides geometric data of the channels is continuous discharge. In this study, continues discharge is obtained by transforming rainfall into runoff in the watershed using Synthetic Unit Hydrograph (SUH) [7]. The application of SUH for flood analysis in this study is mainly due to unavailable data of flow discharge in Wai Batu Merah River to derived representing unit hydrograph. After several trials, using different types of commonly used of SUH, i.e. SUH Snyder and SUH Soil Conservation Service (SCS), SUH SCS provides closest magnitude to the observed magnitude of peak and time to peak of flood discharge. Synthetic Flood Hydrograph of SCS is then constructed based on SUH SCS and presented in Fig. 4.

This can't be referred as SAR as antenna movement can't be utilized to obtain larger “synthetic” antenna and there would be no range cell migration correction, azimuth processing phase, but matched-filter as basic filtering mechanism of RDA coded and simulated to determine range of point targets in single range direction.

Figure 2 shows the hydrograph for reference soil and 25 hydrographs for heterogeneous soils using 25 sets of randomly generated values. Figure 2c to 2e are enlarged hydrographs for the periods T1 to T3 in Figure 2b, respectively. In Figs. 2c and 2d, all hydrographs for heterogeneous soils (shown by dotted lines) had higher peak discharge rate than the hydrograph for the reference soil. In Figure 2e, the hydrographs for heterogeneous soils were scattered around the hydrograph for the reference soil, but mostly still lied above the hydrograph for the reference soil. That is, the reference soil parameters tend to underestimates storm water discharge, provided that the soil heterogeneity in nature is fully described by the randomly generated scaling factor distribution. By using a greater (black cyrcle hair line in Figure 2b), the hydrograph for the reference soil had larger peak discharge rate than the original hydrograph. On the contrary, a smaller value reduced the peak discharge rate (white cyrcle line in Figure 2b).

Pada pemboran ini selalu ada cutting dryer down yang merupakan salah satu solid control yang sudah ditidak digunakan pada saat pemboran berlangsung dan pergantian di lakukan setiap hari pada section. Pada solid control selalu dilakukan pemeriksaan rutin dan maintence semua SCE untuk memastikan kehalusan drilling fluid operation pada rigsite Nilaiequivalent circulating density di dapatkan dan perhitungan Bingham model yaitu 9.6 – 10.1 ppg. Pada interval trayek ini, permasalahan utama saat menggunakan lumpur Syntethic Oil Base Mud adalah gumbo.Di beberapa sumur terjadi sangkutan dan swab effect saat dilakukan trip.Permasalahan gumbo hampir sebagian besar terjadi pada trayek pemboran 17 ½’’ saat menembus batu lempung (clay) formasi Wonocolo. Penggunaan lumpur Synthetic Oil Base Mud dapat mengurangi kereaktifan clay dan menyelubungi cutting bor yang terdistribusi di annulus, sehingga cutting tidak lengket serta tidak menggumpal dan problem gumbo dapat di hindari. (subscript z), a (cm/°C/day) is the degree-day factor, T + ΔT (°C) are the degree days, P (cm) is the precipitation per day, A (km 2 ) is the area of the basin, S is the fractional snow cover and k is the discharge recession coef fi cient. The daily average stream fl ow on day n + 1 is computed by addition of snowmelt and precipitation that contributes to runoff with the discharge on the preceding day. The snowmelt of the preceding day is a product of the degree- day factor (a), zonal degree days (T + ΔT) and the snow- covered area percentage (S). The snowmelt runoff coef fi cient (Cs) and the zonal area (A) are further multiplied with the previous product to compute the percentage that contributes to runoff. Similarly, the product of the rainfall runoff coef fi cient (Cr) and the zonal area (A) determines the precipitation contribution to runoff. The recession coef fi cient (k) is also an important parameter as it describes the structure of the falling limb of the hydrograph and correspondingly determines the proportion of daily melt water production that appears immediately in the runoff. This is obtained with analysis of historical discharge data based on Equation 2, where parameters x and y are derived by analyzing discharge on a given day as a function of the value on the previous day. A critical temperature is used to determine whether a precipitation event is rain or snow over different parts of the basin. When precipitation is determined to be snow, its contribution to runoff depends on whether it falls on a snow- covered or previously snow-free area. Snowfall on snow- covered areas is assumed to become part of the seasonal snowpack, its depth is not tracked further, and its contribution to runoff is determined by the snow depletion curve. Daily snowmelt depth from snow-covered areas is determined on the basis of degree days and a factor that converts this to mass release, qualitatively representing the maximum potential melt given the energy input. High infiltration rate enables more surface f low to infiltrate into the soil and thus result in low surface runoff discharges. High infiltration rate also diminishes the discharge of flows from far-grids that enter the stream at a later time which is indicated by later peaks in the hydrographs of small infiltration rate. The later rising parts of the hydrographs of small infiltration rate ( f = 0.6, 1.2, and 2.2 mm/hour) appear due to the flow from slope-grids located in farther distance from the stream that just enter the stream at a later time. In the hydrograph with high infiltration rate ( f = 5.0 mm/hour), this additional rising part of hydrograph is not observed because the flow is already being infiltrated into the soil along its path to the stream. Small infiltration rate also gives flow a chance to accumulate faster, thus hydrograph of small infiltration rate rises earlier.

Penelitian ini menggunakan model yang dibangun dengan regresi logistik. Metode tersebut cocok digunakan karena respon yang diamati berskala kategorik. Salah satu hal yang perlu diperhatikan dalam evaluasi model adalah tingkat akurasi sebuah model dalam memprediksi respon dengan benar. Kebaikan model dipengaruhi salah satunya oleh adanya keseimbangan antara kelas mayor dengan kelas minor. Kelas mayor adalah data yang ukuran kelasnya (jumlah amatan) lebih besar dari kelas minor berdasarkan peubah respon. The silica content of bagasse ash is relatively high, around 59.4%, suggested a great opportunity to utilize furthermore of bagasse ash into synthetic zeolites. The manufacturing of synthetic zeolites by using ultrasound has been done successfully. The manufacturing process of synthetic zeolites using sonication technique enable to be implemented considering the process is relatively easy, fast, and not too much chemical wastes. Optimum sonicating condition to synthesize zeolites from bagasse ash is carried out at 70 o C for 120 minutes. The zeolite resulted from this experiment is suggested similar to Na-Y within silica dominates of its composition.

Another problem comes up concerning the criterion of conceptual containment, namely that Kant both asserts that (with respect to the example of a triangle) "the concept is nothing more than the mere definition" and rejects a conception of analyticity based on definition, since "'definability' is a stricter condition than 'analyzability’. In fact, Kant does not regard definitions of concepts as giving rise to analytical judgments; rather it is through analytical judgments that we seek to approach the definition of the concepts. And so what Kant thinks is actually contained in a concept remains obscure. It is also pointed out that concepts need to be sufficiently fixed, not dependent upon variable conditions of how much the judger knows about the subject of the judgments and on his arbitrary decision of the choice and formula of his definitions, in order for the classification of judgments into analytic and synthetic not to be arbitrary. Conceptual containment, due to its problems of under-determining the classification of the analytic and the synthetic, cannot resist such arbitrariness. But perhaps the criteria of identity or non-contradiction can.
