The Development of Surga Beach Tourism Potential in East Lombok Regency - Universitas Negeri Padang Repository

Based on the data obtained from Office of Culture, Tourism, Youth and Sport (hereinafter referred to as DISBUDPARPORA), the number of tourists had been increasing every month and every year. Tourism potential in East Lombok is quite a lot. It can be seen from its geographical condition which offers many tourist attactions like religious tour, beach tour, and culinary tour. Of those tourist attractions in East Lombok, a very prominent one is religious tourism. This rapid development significantly affected local people due to an increase of tourists that come to East Lombok. This was because there was a balance between government’s and local people’s role in exploiting available potentials. Today’s development of tourism potential also influences the implementation of regional autonomy. East Lombok has ben well implementing its autonomy and this is shown by its success in increasing locally-generated revenue (PAD) because the success of an autonomy is determined by the regional revenue. Other than national contribution, the tourism development in East Lombok also contributed to the development of East Lombok itself. This could be seen from how the local government coordinated all official services to help developing the local tourism. The coordination allowed DISBUDPARPORA to achieve their goals.

Study of Tourism Potential and Tourist Perception toward Tourism Development in Kera Nepa Forest in Batioh Village of Banyuates Sampang

The aim of research is to know the tourism potential and the perception of tourists toward Kera Nepa forest in Batioh village of Banyuates district of Sampang Regency. This research use descriptive method, technical survey, and was conducted to observe the potential of tourism and questionnaires to determine the perception of tourists and using strategy of SWOT analysis. The Kera Nepa forest there are potential of plants, unique animals and natural potential. The perception of tourists about the Kera Nepa forest has beautiful panorama, cool, still original and the monkey population is reduced due to the number of tourists visiting with the highest value of 2.93 (high category). The perception of tourism development with the principle of ecotourism is the lowest value of 2.43 (medium category). SWOT analysis on strategy result 13 formulation that is optimizing ODTWA, cooperation with stakeholders, community empowerment, intensive promotion, attractive tourism product, improvement of investment climate, cooperation in tourism area security, motivating society in making home industry, surveillance to visitor, memorial to visitors not to disturb the long-tailed monkey habitat, innovate in the packaging of tourism products, the development of eco-tourism potential, provide guidance of public to the importance of tourism area.

The Tourism Potential And Its Integration In Area Development Of Payangan Agropolitan, Gianyar Regency, Bali Province

Payangan Agropolitan is an area of agricultural development that has the tourism potential. Along with development of the agricultural sector, the tourism sector also developed. However, there were trends that agriculture sector forced by development of other sectors; one of them was the tourism sector. Thus, in further development need to be done in an integrated manner. Objectives of this research were: (1) To find out the relationship between tourism sector and others; (2) To find out the potential of tourist attractions to be developed in the region of Payangan Agropolitan; (3) Knowing the tourist's perception of the factors that affects tourist visitation to the Area of Payangan Agropolitan; (4) Formulate plans and strategies of integrated tourism development with area development of Payangan Agropolitan in the framework of area development. The results show that via linkage and multiplier effects analysis, the tourism was the main sector. Analysis on the tourism potential showed that the most preferred was nature- related tourism. From analysis on the factors of tourist visit, there were five dominant influential factors, namely: services; tourism and attraction types; the available facilities; transportation facilities, and promotion. Furthermore, on the subsequent analysis obtained three main strategies in the integrated development of tourism with area development of Payangan Agropolitan, namely: improving the sectoral linkage with improving integration of inter-existing sectors via development of science and technology; introducing and offering the existing tourism potential with development of tourism packages via a partnership of government, private and public; and strengthening the tourism by establish partnerships and networks.

In addition to a description of the dynamics of global and regional level of the local tourism industry faced with the national challenge, especially when associated with decentralization. The era of regional autonomy that is characterized by Law No. 22 of 1999 as amended by Law No. 32 of 2004 on Regional Government has authorized the district / city to manage his own household in order to improve the welfare of the community independently. The independence, expected to create better economic growth, including the tourism sector areas more professional. On the other hand, tourism activity is often more emphasis on efforts to increase tourist arrivals oriented revenue without thinking about the impact on the environment, social and cultural. Therefore, the development of tourism products offered managers tend to lead to the development of mass tourism. Of course, if it is left to the development of tourism, which is likely to negatively affect less attention to ecological aspects, social, cultural, and even can be exploitative towards its resources. Though local tourists and foreign tourists increasingly critical choosing tourist destinations are able to offer optimum satisfaction score despite the relatively high cost (Damanik and Frans Teguh, 2013: 13). It can be argued that the current rating is more likely to seek quality tourist destination to be visited.

Karakelong island located in the Talaud Islands, North Sulawesi Province. In astronomy Talaud Islands lies between 3° 45'- 5° north latitude and between 126° 30' - 126°45' east longitude. The island is surrounded by natural beauty of the sea coast and forests. Archaeological remnants from this island among others are a series of Karakelong caves, one of which is the Balangingi cave. From this site has been obtained more than 2.604 fragments of pottery, three red-glass beads and two green-glass beads, two fragments of bronze/copper and a segment of bronze/copper bracelets. Radio carbon dating on charchoal samples found at the depth of 20-30 cm showed the date of 950 ± 130 BP in the middle layer of the culture. (Tanudirjo 2001). From observations made on the vegetation environment in Karakelong island, in particular in the sub distrct of Rainis (Rainis village), the physiognomy of plants can be divided in to the environment of coastal vegetation, plantation environment, bush and jungle environments. This site could be expected to be come a tourist destination in the future, considering the site has the potential for archaeological remains as well as its potential environment

Linting Lake is one of tourism area that have potential and need the plan to arrange it in the future. The research about the value of potential ang attraction of tourism object in Linting Lake area have never been research. Cause that, need to do the research and evaluation to the potential thing. The research have purposed to identification the potential and attraction of nature tourism in Linting Lake area and for analysis the preparation of the people to build the tourism village in Linting Lake area. The study involved the visitors, the public, the Department of Forest , and the Department of Tourism. Potential of sights and attractions are identified using observation methods and analyzed according to the scoring criteria in the analysis orientation of objects operating area and nature tourism attraction, Directorate General of Forest Protection and Nature Conservation, 2003. Meanwhile, Participatory Rural Appraisal methode have been done with questionnaire to the people that living around the tourism territory of Linting Lake. The results of the research showed that the potential natural resources in Sibunga –bunga village are hot water sources, caves, and lime stones. The people will be ready to participate to develop their village to be the one of the tourism village that considered as basic society.
