Ary, Jacobs, and Sorensen (2010) mention that document analysis can be of written or of nonwritten records. Furthermore, they elaborate the types of the document into four categories: (1) public records, (2) personal documents, (3) physical materials, and (4) researcher-generated documents. The examples of the public records are the agency reports and the websites of congressional committees. Meanwhile, diaries and letters can be categorized as the personal documents. Physical materials include many objects, for examples are paintings and photographs. The last category is researcher-generated documents in which the documents are prepared by the researcher or for the researcher by the participants. Based on the classification, the research on the newspaper analysis was included in the document analysis of the public record. By conducting research on the newspaper, the researcher studied the typical characteristics of the newspaper, especially about the types of figurative language and the syntactic features used in the opinion column headlines of The WallStreetJournal.
They hadn't. Not really. The first person inside AIG FP to awaken to the madness of his firm's behavior, and sound an alarm, was not Tom Fewings, who quickly forgot his meeting with Lippmann, but Gene Park. Park worked in AIG FP's Connecticut office and sat close enough to the credit default swap traders to have a general idea of what they were up to. In mid-2005 he read a front-page story in the WallStreetJournal about the mortgage lender New Century. He noted how high the company's dividend was and wondered if he should buy some of its stock for himself. As he dug into New Century, however, Park saw that they owned all these subprime mortgages--and he could see from their own statements that the quality of these loans was frighteningly poor. Soon after his private investigation of New Century, Park had a phone call from a penniless, jobless old college friend who had been offered several loans from banks to buy a house he couldn't afford. That's when the penny dropped for him: Park had noticed his colleague, Al Frost, announcing credit default swap deals with big WallStreet firms at a new clip. A year before, Frost might have done one billion-dollar deal each month; now he was doing twenty, all of them insuring putatively diversified piles of consumer loans. "We were doing every single deal with every single WallStreet firm, except Citigroup," says one trader. "Citigroup decided it liked the risk, and kept it on their books. We took all the rest." When traders asked Frost why WallStreet was suddenly so eager to do business with AIG, as one put it, "he would explain that they liked us because we could act quickly." Park put two and two together and guessed that the nature of these piles of consumer loans insured by AIG FP was changing, that they contained a lot more subprime mortgages than anyone knew, and that if U.S. homeowners began to default in sharply greater numbers, AIG didn't have anywhere near the capital required to cover the losses. When he brought this up at a meeting, his reward was to be hauled into a separate room by Joe Cassano, who screamed at him that he didn't know what he was talking about.

Jordan Belfort is the main character of the story. He is nicknamed Wolf of WallStreet because he is a smart and slick man who builds Stratton Oakmont, one of the biggest Stock Broker Companies in WallStreet. Stock broker is a job that requires good speaking ability and good persuasion skill because their work is selling stock to investor. As the founder of Stratton Oakmont, Jordan has the best speaking ability. “Let me hear another lie from the man who lies for a living” (Belfort, 2007: 27). That quotation is spoken by Jordan’s wife, Nadine. From there we can see that Jordan’s speaking ability is outstanding. He can persuade people to buy his stock regardless what he said is a lie, even his wife acknowledges that and lets it happen instead of stopping him. He earns his wealth and builds his career by lying to his customer about the stock he is about to sell.
The development of economy are equal to the increase of volume traffic in Surabaya, so Surabaya’s government are planning the improvement and development of traffic management. For example, Rungkut Surabaya which currently held road widening project with box culvert’s installation at Zamhuri Street to reduce it’s traffic jam. With the completion of the project, it’s likely to cause an increase in traffic volume at the intersection of Rungkut Kidul Street – Zamhuri Street – Rungkut Tengah Street – Rungkut Industri Kidul Street Surabaya. Therefore, it’s necessary to analyze and evaluate the performance at the intersection and planning the improvement of the intersection so it can be optimized according to plan.
MERGER is a well-plotted, entertaining thrill ride that also manages to be intelligent. In recent years, authors writing screenplays disguised as novels have soured the once hallowed genre of the corporate thriller. MERGER provides refreshing relief from this syndrome. Author Sanghoee's style is at times bombastic but he still manages to exploit the medium of the novel to take viewers behind the closed doors of WallStreet and Corporate America through meticulously crafted detail. There is substance to the tale, not just style. Corrupt CEO, Vikram Suri, is one of the most engaging villains in recent memory, ranking right up there with Michael Douglas' masterful Gordon Gekko. Through an intricate web of untraceable money laundering transactions and illicit dealmaking, Suri organizes an embezzlement scheme that makes WorldCom look like a big misunderstanding. Highly recommended reading for anyone who likes THRILLERS!

It also functions as the street children’s need and problem assessment center as well as making social service referral for the street children. It is an intermediary between the street children and the family, house (panti), alternate family, and other institution.

newspapers even today. So it is no wonder that many of the currently strong brands in the financial media were established early on. The oldest business medium is The Economist, which was established in 1847. The news agency Reuters started in the year 1851. The British Financial Times was established in 1888 and the other flagship business newspaper, the US WallStreetJournal was established the year after, in 1889. All the main Nordic business papers except Swedish Dagens Industri were also established in the 19 th century. To be able to define financial media one must first define business journalism. Boundaries between business journalism and other forms of journalism are not fixed. But one can say that “Business journalism now includes particular outlets that specialize in the dissemination of economic, business and management news on a daily or a weekly basis”. 36

know, I think Ackman did Herbalife, because I—obviously I don’t like Ackman. Ackman is lying about what happened. I didn’t need the $4 million I made there. What incensed me was that he weaseled out of the deal. We’ll leave that alone. You’re right. Happened ten years ago, leave it alone. He weaseled out of it. I’ll tell you that I’m known as a tough guy, but I think if you take my handshake you live by it. There’s no one will ever say I went back on a handshake. Let’s go back to Herbalife. This is the typical Ackman. I wouldn’t care if it was anybody else but Ackman. But he goes into the room and gets three hundred people and tells them how bad this company is. It is a classic stuff. They did it in the nineties. You scare the hell out of people. Get the stock down. He marks the stock on December 31st and makes $600 million on paper. And tells the world how great he is. He is giving to charity and shows the world he has made 12 percent, which isn’t so great anyway. I would like to say we made 28 percent last year without going and having to go pump and dump stocks and go and have rooms full of people. And in 2011, at the risk of being immodest, we made 33 percent without having to do what I consider to be manipulation, OK? And that’s what he did in Herbalife. He got a bunch of innocent investors, retirees, they are going to lose their money so Ackman can show a good record at the end of the year and, by the way, took an inordinate risk because a company like Herbalife, you can ask almost any pro, you don’t go 20 percent. And what the hell, he is not risking his money, he is risking his investors’ money. You go in and you got 20 percent and if there is a squeeze, which well might be in Herbalife, what the hell does he do. I would like him to answer, where does he get the stock when they call back all the stock? Let’s say there’s [a] tender offer for Herbalife and they call back the stock. If you know, you know, WallStreet, on a tender offer, everybody calls back the stock you borrowed. If that happens, that stock could rush to a hundred. What the hell does Ackman do? Ask him. He is right here on the phone.”
On-street parking means parking your vehicle on the street, anywhere on or along the curb of streets, in contrast to parking it in a parking garage. In some streets you can always park your vehicle on the street, but sometimes there are restrictions. Mostly these restrictions are presented on traffic signs. Sometimes you’re only
