Third: Practices that violate scientific honesty
• The researcher is forbidden to fabricate scientific results regardless of their quantity, which are not based in scientific research or its experimental results and to claim that they are the result of experimental scientific research. In this regard, the researcher must present the scientific results without distortion and not excluding the deviant and abnormal ones from the real outcomes
resulting from the scientific experiments carried out within the limits of the statistical rules with the aim of showing them in full consistency required by some scientific journals.
• The researcher is to refrain from direct scientific misinformation, including deliberate focus on highlighting content which may be accidental or affirming its meaning, and treating it as equivalent to the rest of the results obtained in the general context of scientific research and neglecting other numbers, which may cause the research idea to become weak.
• The researcher is prohibited from attributing to himself/herself a part of or an entire work belonging to others, or neglect to refer to the source of any idea or any part of the research or manuscript whatever that may be.
• The researcher should avoid exaggeration by mentioning scientific references and attribution without referring to them, and the researcher should not list excessive references to suggest the wide scope of his scientific background in the field of his research in order to establish an impression on the readers or referees of his/ her knowledge of everything in his/ her field.
• The researcher must seek accuracy and credibility in writing his scientific biography and not exaggerate when highlighting experience and personal achievements in order to obtain any interest or mislead others.
