2019 Judo NSW Sate Kata Team Camp

An open Kata training camp for all Australian Judo Kata enthusiasts

The aim of the Judo NSW State Kata Team Camp is to prepare Judo NSW Kata team members and other Australian state team members for the 2019 Australia Judo National Championships, 7-10 Jun 2019, at the Gold Coast Sport & Leisure Centre. The camp is not limited to Judo NSW members, but is open to all Judo Australia Kata Enthusiasts.

At the camp, you will hone your Kata skills with Judo NSW State Coaches, who have won many Gold medals at the Australia National and OJU Championships, as well as international competition experience. The coaches are up to date on Kodokan Kata instruction and IJF judging criteria. In addition to technical coaching and instruction, advice on training and preparing for the Nationals will be given. This is a camp not to miss.

This year, we will trial a three-day format. Friday is optional, but Saturday and Sunday are mandatory for all Judo NSW State Kata Team members. Please see the below schedule.
