MAYORAL MINUTE

Councillors,
At the March 2012 Council Meeting it was resolved that I attend the 2012 National General Assembly of Local Government in Canberra from 17 to 20 June 2012.
In reviewing the dates of this National General Assembly it has been identified that these indeed clash with the proposed date of the June Council Meeting being Tuesday 19 June 2012. In light of this clash, and the importance of the meeting, where the 2011/2015 Delivery Program and 2012/2013 Operational Plan will be considered, I would like Council to
consider moving the June Council Meeting back a week, which will also mean moving the Community Access session by a week.
This request is in accord with the terms of the Code of Meeting Practice, which provides Council with the opportunity to review Council Meeting dates.

RECOMMENDATION:
That the date of the June 2012 Council Meeting be amended to Tuesday 26 June 2012 and the June 2012 Community Access session be amended to Thursday 21 June 2012.
