Rackley Centenary has a long standing reputation for combining an industry leading coaching team with world class training facilities. The Centenary team enjoys access to a 50m outdoor heated pool, an 8 lane 25m indoor pool, onsite gym and cardio equipment, as well as resident physio and massage personnel. The Program: • Caters for all abilities from Junior Squad to international athletes. Currently over 160 athletes are enrolled within our squad programs.
• Rackley Centenary is a consistent top 5 club at Queensland Swimming state titles and has finished inside the top 20 clubs at age nationals
• Competes in the Premiership Division of Brisbane Swimming
• Has strong ties and links with QGSSSA and GPS schools
The Position: Due to the success of our program, Rackley Centenary are seeking candidates who are dedicated to the sport of swimming and are willing to commit to aiding not only their long term development as a coach, but also the swimmers within our program. The role will be report directly to our Head Coach, and work primarily with our club and GPS based school programs in a supported environment. The successful candidate will be initially employed on a year round casual basis. Key attributes are:
• Minimum NCAS Bronze licence or equivalent
• Experience coaching within a school environment; GPS school or equivalent highly regarded
• Experience as Assistant Coach within a club based program • Proven experience in working collaboratively within a coaching team Also desirable
• Experience in writing and implementing a Long Term Athlete Development Plan
• Competitive swimming background Other responsibilities:
• Willing to attend and help facilitate regular club nights and activities
• Willing to attend weekend competitions to support swimmers and the team
