About us
Fringe ICT is a specialist ICT consulting organisation with a focus on these two main areas:
• Strategic, and general, ICT Consulting
• ICT Productivity Training / Adoption and End-User Change Management
Fringe ICT was established in 2015 and primarily delivers services to large government and corporate/enterprise organisations. The Principal Consultant, Lucas Hough-Neilson, has been in ICT for over 30 years and brings a wealth of experience in these areas which are described in further detail below.
Skills, experience and services
Strategic, and general, ICT Consulting• ICT/AV Strategic Plans
o With the tight integration with an organisation’s collaboration tool, audio visual services are rapidly being recognised as an ICT service (not a building/accommodation service) but ICT requires guidance on how to treat AV as another ICT Enterprise Service with the required supporting governance and operational processes.
o Engaged by large government agencies and organisations to develop ICT/AV Enterprise Strategies and then, at times, ongoing assistance in the execution of the developed strategies
o Other ICT plans (including ICT Strategy and adoption of Microsoft Teams) as required
• Business Analysis & Solution Architect services
o Including functional requirements, automation / process improvement, collaboration solutioning and internal business engagement
o Guidance to better understand and leverage the key productivity products available, specifically as part of Microsoft 365 (Office 365).
• Project / Program Management
• Contract CIO / Head of IT
o As required, primarily short-term to achieve specific outcomes ICT Training (Productivity) / Adoption and End-User Change Management
• Custom targeted end-user training supporting migrations and increasing knowledge on key products
o Windows 10 and Microsoft Office with a focus on assisting end-users leveraging valuable features that they are not aware of that will allow them to work ‘smarter not harder’.
o Understanding the benefits of leveraging the touch capabilities of Windows 10 o Other training as covered below.
