HIS Excellency the Governor, acting by and with the advice of the Executive Council and in pursuance of the provisions of the Building Act 1975-1978, has been pleased, effective on and from the Twenty- third day of September, 1978-
(a) to repeal the Building (Referees and Building Advisory Committee) Regulations 1976; and
(b) to substitute the following Regulations in lieu thereof.

BUILDING REGULATIONS 1978 PRELIMINARY
1. These Regulations may be cited as the Building Regulations 1978.
FORMS
2. The forms set forth in the First Schedule hereto shall be the prescribed forms for the purposes for which they are respectively applicable.
FEES
3. The fees set forth in the Second Schedule hereto shall be the prescribed fees with respect to the purposes and circumstances respectively set out in the said Schedule.
REMUNERATION
OFMEMBERS
4. (1) The remuneration set out in the Scale of Fees hereunder shall be the remuneration payable to-
(a) the members of the Committee other than officers of the Public Service of the State in respect of meetings attended by such members; and
(b) the members of the Committee who are officers of the Public
Service of the State in respect of meetings attended by such
officers outside of their ordinary hours of duty.

Members(2) The remuneration set out in the Scale of Fees hereunder shall be the remuneration payable to-
Meeting up to two hours inclusive . . .

(a) the members of any sub-committee appointed under section 2 8 ~ of this Act and the members of the By-laws Variation Sub-committee constituted under Section 1 2 ~ of this Act, other than officers of the Public Service of the State in respect of meetings attended by such members; and
(b) the members of any sub-committee appointed under section 2 8 ~ of this Act and the members of the By-laws Variation Sub-committee constituted under Section 1 2 ~ of this Act, who are officers of the Public Service of the State in respect of meetings attended by such officers outside of their ordinary hours of duty.

5. The remuneration payable to a referee to hear an objection pursuant to Division I of Part V of this Act shall be $25.00 for each hour or part thereof of such hearing provided however that a referee who is an officer of the Public Senice of the State shall not receive payment in respect of hearings conducted during his ordinary hours of duty.

6. The prescribed information to be supplied to a Local Authority in respect of a building or other structure pursuant to section 4 (4) of this Act shall be-
A. In all situations other than those referred to in Part B of this regulation-
a copy of 1:100 scale drawing of the building or other structure (i.e. floor plans and elevations), together with a site plan of such a scale as will enable the Local Authority to effect the provision of water supply, sewerage and storm-water drainage for the subject land;
B. In situations where the prescribed Minister considers that the supply of the information referred to in Part A of this regulation would not be in thc public interest-
