THE BEACH PROTECTION REGULATIONS OF 1968 Premier's Office,
Brisbane, Sth September, 1968.
THE Deputy Governor, for and on behalf of His Excellency the Governor, acting by and with the advice of the Executive Council and in pursuance of the provisions of "The B~ch Protection Act of 1968" has been pleased to make the following Regulations:-
1. These Regulations may be cited as ''The Beach Protection Regulations of 1968".
2. A representative of the Local Authorities north of the Shire of Noosa, the Areas whereof respectively include any part of the coast or any island adjacent to the Coast, to be a member of the Beach Protection Advisory Board shall be nominated by the Executive of The Local Government Association of Queensland (Incorporated) and in making such nomination such Executive shall have due regard only to the wishes of such Local Authorities.
3. (1) In respect of the first and every subsequent appoint- ment of a representative nominated pursuant to Regulation 2 of these Regulations the Minister shall cause The Local Government Association of Queensland (Incorporated) to be notified as he deems fit of a date on or before which he requires such nomination to be furnished to him at the address stated by him.
(2) If any such nomination is not furnished to the Minister as required by him, he may nominate a person as the representative of such Local Authorities and the Governor in Council may appoint that person a member of such Board as that representative.

THE Deputy Governor, for and on behalf of His Excellency the Governor, acting by and with the advice of the Executive Council and in pursuance of the provisions of "The Beach Protection Act of 1968," has been pleased to make the follow- ing Amendments to "The Beach Protection Regulations of 1968".
1. The following Regulations are inserted in such Regu- lations immediately following Regulation 3:-
"4. (i) The Forms set forth in the Schedule hereto, shall be used for the purposes for which they are respectively applicable:
Provided that no such Form shall be deemed invalid if it is to the effect of the respectively proper Form in the said Schedule with such modifications as the circumstances may require.
(ii) Where a Form prescribed by these Regulations requires completion by the insertion of particulars or other matters referred to in the Form, those particulars or other matters are prescribed as the particulars or other matters required under the provisions of the Act for the purpose for which the Form is prescribed.
(iii) A Form prescribed by these Regulations shall be completed in accordance with such directions as are specified in the Form as so prescribed.
5. An application for a permit to erect a structure or alter an existing structure on any land in a beach erosion control district shall be in Form 1 of the Schedule hereto.
6. An application for compensation for injurious affec- tion shall be in Form 2 of the Schedule hereto."
