The Commission administers this Act subject to the Minister. PART II-Powers of the GOVERNOR in COUNCIL. The person so designated when appointed as a member of the Governor in Council shall hold office for the remainder of the term of his predecessor.

The Commission's decision on such a referral is final and binding on the board and the manager. The Minister's decision is final and binding on the Commission and the board.

75 47 (3) (i) Any notice, order, process, summons or other document under or for any of the purposes of this Act which is required or authorized to be given or served on any person may be served- . Each such action shall be commenced within twelve months after the cause of action accrues, and not thereafter.

A budget ledger and a general ledger will be kept in which the transactions of the Council will be recorded under appropriate accounts. Where contractors' deposits are forfeited to the Council under the terms of the contract, the fact must be recorded in the minutes and in the register of contracts.

The proceeds of each loan are placed to the credit of the loan office's bank account. Any delegation by the trustee under the preceding paragraph must be in writing. Official orders must be signed by the director, secretary or board officer designated as the Chief Stores Officer.

A register will be established at the headquarters of the Common-wealth Bank of Australia in Brisbane. After receipt of the application and the purchase amount, or a deposit therefor, an official receipt will be issued by the registrar. HIS Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, in pursuance of the provisions of the Regional Electric Authorities Act, has been pleased to approve the following By-Laws made by the Cairns Regional Electricity Board.

CHAPTER 1

These by-laws, except as otherwise expressly provided, apply and apply throughout the part of the country established as the Cairns Electricity Supply Region.

If an employee is retired, or his service is terminated for any reason other than misconduct at the expiration of a period of at least thirteen years' continuous service, there shall be paid to him, with the approval of the Board, in lieu of long service leave, an amount equal to wages at that rate, he received on the date of retirement for the period specified below. Provided that an officer who leaves the employment of the Cairns Regional Electricity Board of his own accord and is re-employed by the Board within a period of 12 months shall be credited for the continuous employment which he had immediately before leaving the Board. employed on the board. And whereas the State Electricity Commission of Queensland has authorized the making of the following Bye-laws, it is hereby resolved by the Capricornia Regional Electricity Board, with the approval of the Governor in Council, that the following Bye-laws shall come into force within the said Region from the date for the publication of this in the Official Gazette.

CHAPTER 1 GENERAL PROVISIONS

The Chairman may call a special meeting of the Board in the prescribed manner whenever he thinks fit. 19. Each member of the Board, including the chairman, has the right to be paid the expenses necessarily incurred by him in the performance of any task authorized by the Board.

The president has the right to compensation, the amount of which is determined by resolution of the board of directors. No proposal entered into the business document may be withdrawn without the consent of the committee. The president is entitled to compensation, the amount of which is determined by a decision of the board of directors.

The chairman may convene a special meeting of the Council in the prescribed manner as often as he thinks fit. The chairman is entitled to an allowance, the amount of which is fixed by decision of the Council. The chairman may call a special meeting of the Council as often as he thinks fit in the manner prescribed.

Every member of the Council, including the Chairman, is entitled to reimbursement of expenses necessarily incurred in carrying out the duties authorized by the Council. The chairman is entitled to compensation, the amount of which is determined by decision of the board.
