An Act to Legalise the Marriage of a Oman with the Deceased Husband

Provided that this Act shall not render valid any such marriage in any case where either of the parties of such marriage shall thereafter before the passing of this Act have lawfully intermarried with any other person; nor shall the passing of this Act deprive or be held to have deprived any person of any p r Q p e ~ y which such person may have lawfully inherited prior to the corning into operation of this Act.
s. This Act shall extend marriage as aforesaid notwithstanding that an action, suit, or proceeding for a declaration of nullity in respect of any such marriage was, had, taken, or commenced prior to the p a s s i ~ ~ of this Act, but in respect of which action, suit, or ~ r o c e e ~ i n g the court had not, at the passing of this Act, made any such d laration of nullity;
and the provisions of this Act shall apply and exte to the intent that any such marriage (being the subject of any such action
proceeding as aforesaid) shall not be voidable or in any wise irn
upon the ground only of such afinity between the parties thereto, and to this extent this Act shall have retrospective operation.
