Dear Resident / Business Owner Happy New Year!
This notice is to inform you that ADCO Constructions have returned from the shutdown period and works on the Waves Project have re- commenced. ADCO Constructions are nearing completion of the excavation phase of the project and thank all the residents for their patience during these works.
We are now preparing to enter the above ground works phase of the project with further trades to commence in the coming months. We encourage you to walk around the perimeter of the project during this time to see the Waves Project take shape.
High voltage power works are due to commence next week and take approximately 3-4 weeks to complete.
HIGH VOLTAGE POWER WORKS
What we are doing
• Commencement of HV substation works including trenching outside of project boundary and overhead works along Mileham Avenue & Oxley Avenue.
• Operation of machinery and construction vehicles
• Traffic control measures including temporary road closures
What to be aware of
Traffic and Pedestrian Changes
• Traffic control measures over the next 3-4 weeks– refer map overleaf detailing three stages of work
• Traffic Controllers will be operating a ‘Stop/Go’ contra flow with one lane operational along Mileham Avenue during the trenching and overhead works.
• A temporary road closure will be in place whilst trenching across Oxley Avenue. A detour will be put in place to accommodate traffic.
Noise and Vibration
• These works are expected to generate medium noise levels and possible vibration for surrounding residents during approved construction hours.
We apologise in advance for any disturbances that may occur as a result of these works.
