An Act to amend the Agent-General Act, 1911-1953, the Audit Act, 1921-1951, the Police Regulation Act, 1952-1955, and the Public Service Act,
1936-1954, and for other purposes.
[Assented to 21st February, 1957.]
BE IT ENACTED by the Governor of the State of South Australia, with the advice and consent of the Parliament thereof, as follows :
1. This Act may be cited as the "Statutes Amendment (Public Salaries) Act, 1957".
2. Section 5 of the Agent-General Act, 1901-1953, is amended by striking out the words "five hundred" in paragraph (a) of subsection (I) and inserting in their place the words
"eight hundred and seventy-six"_
3. Section 6 of the Audit Act, 1921-1951, is amended by striking out the words "five hundred" in subsection (I) thereof and inserting in their place the words "eight hundred and seventy-six" .

5. Section 17 of the Public Service Act, 1936-1954, is amended by striking out the words "five hundred" in sub- section (I) thereof and inserting in their place the words "eight hundred and seventy-six". ,
