BE IT ENACTED by the Governor of the State of South Australia, with the advice and consent of the Parliament thereof, as follows:

1. (1) This Act may be cited as the "South Australian Gas Shorttltl ...
Company's Act Amendment Act, 1964".
(2) The South Australian Gas Company's Act, 1861-1952, as amended by this Act, may be cited as the "South Australian Gas Company's Act. 1861-1964".
(3) The South Australian Gas Company's Act, 1861-1952, is hereinafter referred to as "the principal Act".
2. This Act is incorporated with the principal Act and that Incorporation
Act and this Act shall be read as one Act.

Section 11 of the principal Act is amended-(a) by inserting at the end of the second subparagraph thereof the following proviso:-
Provided that the requirement in the section numbered 14 that any transfer of shares shall be made by deed shall not apply and that the section numbered 15 shall be construed accordingly:

(b) by inserting at the end of the fifth sub paragraph thereof the following proviso : -
Provided that any requirement in the sections numbered 46 and 49 that any transfer of any such mortgage or bond or of the interest thereon shall be made by deed shall not apply.
