RULES RELATING TO STUDENT MATTERS
- Meaning of certain words. Unless the context otherwise indicates or requires-

The candidate may not leave the examination room before the end of the examination period without the invigilator's permission. A person, whether a candidate or not, must not do anything that would assist any other person taking the examination to cheat or otherwise violate the purposes of the examination.

Powers and Duties of an Academic Board in relation to subjects offered by the Faculty
Unless the Academic Board administering the course has decided that further assessment is desirable before issuing a final result, the student will be given an opportunity to show cause to the Registrar why the result should not be cancelled. The Academic Board administering the course in which the student is enrolled must notify the registrar of a final result no later than two weeks (or six weeks with the approval of the academic.
REVIEW OF RESULTS
Where candidates have failed to comply with the Rules in relation to a particular subject or course, whether or not they have been permitted to sit the relevant examinations, or where the Academic Council administering the course decides that further assessment is desirable prior to release of candidates final results, such results may be withheld in either a particular subject or all subjects at the discretion of the Academic Council until the candidates have met all requirements to the satisfaction of the Academic Council. In such cases, the Registrar will notify the student in writing to contact the Head of Department/School offering the subject to establish exact requirements for issuing the final result.
