OPEN DAY TIMETABLE - FRIDAY 26 MAY

The Village Green is Waikato’s student hub. Grab a bite to eat from any of the cafés and experience the exciting vibe of life on campus. We have games and activities running throughout the day, and plenty of prizes to be won!

Notable buildings include the Gallagher Academy of Performing Arts (GAPA), The Student Centre, and MSB (Waikato Management School). Use the map at the back of this programme or our app to find them on campus.

At Open Day you can learn more about study options, meet our students and staff and experience Waikato student life first-hand.

Use this programme to find out what’s happening on campus during Open Day, decide what information sessions, mini lectures and workshops you want to attend and find your way around campus.

To make it easier to find out about what you are interested in at Open Day, we have 7 zones set up on campus.

Each zone focuses on a particular group of subjects and fields of study.

THE PĀ LOOKING FOR

SOMETHING?

Head to the Information Tent on the Village Green or ask anyone wearing an Open Day red t-shirt.

open day zones

An innovative and versatile new facility that will be the year-round home of campus life, and will include areas dedicated to students, retail spaces, food outlets and a stage for performances and events.

‘The Pā’ is a reference to the concept of community and location, and will be the heart of the campus.

Construction is due for completion later in 2023.
