This task provides students with opportunities to:
As part of the unit ‘Into Relationships’ you have been examining
personal identity and personality traits and their impact on relationships.
You have examined a range of personality tests. You will now be selecting two tests and investigating how they can be used with regard to improving relationships in the workplace.
Task
An employer group is investigating ways to use data gathered from personality testing to improve workplace relations. Your role is to select two personality tests and prepare a multimodal presentation to the employer group that investigates the effectiveness of these personality tests and appraises their usefulness as tools of workplace improvement.
You must also recommend ways employers and employees could use test results to develop an effective working environment.

Guidelines
Use material gathered from class work on personality tests and research on workplaces to organise information relating to two personality tests and research what makes an effective workplace.
In order to undertake this task, you should complete the following steps:
• recognise and describe the main concepts and ideas related to the tests in determining personality traits and their usefulness in studying
relationships
• recognise and explain how personal and interpersonal skills relate to the maintenance of effective relationships
• explain the issues and viewpoints associated with using the two personality tests
