Notice of Commencement of Construction Works
Stormwater Management Basin and Landscape Embellishments Lansdowne Road Reserve, North Kellyville
Council’s contractor DSA Contracting Pty Ltd will soon commence construction of a stormwater management basin, recreation open space and landscape embellishments, adjoining the existing playground at the above location as shown on attached drawing. The work involves removal of affected vegetation, earthworks, construction of footpath & ramps, retaining walls & drainage structures, revegetation and landscaping. The project will improve the health of waterways and creeks and provide more recreational open space.
Work is planned to commence in the first week of September 2021 and scheduled for completion in January 2022, subject to weather conditions and the requirement to comply with the NSW Public Health Order (and any possible future amendments). Work will be carried out Monday – Saturday from 7:00am to 5:00pm.
The contractor will install temporary perimeter fencing around the worksite and the existing playground will remain open. Construction vehicles will access the worksite from Foxall Road at the permanent maintenance access location shown on the drawing, in addition to a temporary access on the corner of Ellard Road & San Siro Road. On-street parking may be impacted during construction.
In order to enhance safety at the work site, your cooperation is sought to drive slowly in the vicinity of the works, follow all warning signs and directions of the contractor’s staff. Pedestrians are requested to use the existing footpath on the opposite side of the planned works.
Minor delays and inconvenience may be experienced during work and your patience is appreciated.
