WRITTEN QUESTION Mr Vowles to the Minister for Community Services:
Local Implementation Plan Actions
1. Please provide details of progress, as of 30 June 2014, of all actions listed in Local Implementation Plans established under the Remote Service Delivery National Partnership Agreement that the Northern Territory Government has a role in delivering, including the following information by Northern Territory town and Local Implementation Plan:
a) The project name, purpose and individual cost of the capital component of all projects that have been completed, including date of completion;
b) The project name and purpose of all projects that that are on-going, including the anticipated cost of individual capital works related to each of the on-going projects;
and
c) The project name and purpose of projects yet to commence, including anticipated start date, completion date and anticipated capital works for each project.

RESPONSE
The Remote Service Delivery National Partnership Agreement was formally signed by the Australian Government, the relevant States and the Northern Territory in January 2009 and continued until June 2014.
In terms of section 25 of the Partnership Agreement ‘The Commonwealth will monitor the overall implementation of the Agreement, including the Bilateral Plans and Local
Implementation Plans. The Commonwealth will report annually to COAG on implementation of the Agreement.’
The Commonwealth Government released an evaluation report on the 30 July 2014 outlining the achievements resulting from the Remote Service Delivery National Partnership
Agreement.
