Your Presence is based on your Lync activities. Changing Presence Status will let others know of your availability.

Are you trying to get hold of someone but their Presence Status says “In a meeting”?
Try this: Why not dial directly to their voice mail and leave them a message
Volume of Calls
When using Lync to receive phone calls, there are a number of places you can control the volume level. All of these can affect the overall volume heard by the caller.

To register for Lync training:
1. Please click on the Waitlist Yourself tile login 2. Then Choose Lync 2010 from the course drop arrow in the Waitlist – New Item dialogue box 3. Select your Campus from the drop down arrow
next to the Campus field
4. Fill in the rest of the fields marked with a red * 5. Click on Save
