Reporting to: The Chairman

Functional Relationships: Director of Finance, Director of Membership, Director of Surf Sports, Director of Lifeguarding, Junior Surf Representative.

Duties:

· Write, deliver and measure PR & Communication strategy

· Manage public and internal communications including development of social media channels

· Development and Management of the club web site including liaison with web site developer

· Liaison with relevant internal Directors and managers to ensure relevant content and notifications on the web site and other communication channels

· Liaise with Director of Membership to ensure regular and relevant communication with membership (newsletter)

· Develop and maintain effective relationships with sponsors and club partners

· Development and management of club fundraising events and campaigns

· Liaison with Director of Membership in promoting and delivering club social events

· Manage communication with Life Members

· Writing of press releases / establishing and maintaining strong media contacts

· Sponsorship development, retention and delivery
