What an amazing response!
Registrations “sell out” in 48 hours for the 2013 First National Kimberley - Lake Argyle Swim.
Congratulations to the 140 swimmers who have made the 2013 field.
The amazing registration response is a credit to Taneille Anderson, the Lake Argyle Swim Committee, our sponsors and supporters. Providing a great swimming and event experience in an amazing location is the key to this success. Well done team!
The 2013 committee is working hard to ensure a fantastic experience for all swimmers, skippers, paddlers and supporters on Saturday May 4th.
The 2013 Event Program
Briefing Sessions:
There will be three (3) briefing sessions. It is compulsory to attend one (1) of these sessions to collect your Race Kit and receive any last minute instructions:
Wednesday 1st May 6pm, Kununurra (venue to be confirmed).
Friday 3rd May 6pm, Lake Argyle Resort.
Saturday 4th May 5:45am, Lake Argyle Resort.
The sessions will be concise, but offer the chance for all your questions to be answered. They are a great opportunity to meet fellow teams and there will be plenty of time to socialise and relax afterwards.

7am Early Bird Cruise – Lake Argyle Cruises
Departing 7am from the Lake Argyle Boat Ramp and cruising to the official 20km race start.
A light breakfast will be provided on the 2+ hour cruise.
9am Morning Tea Cruise – Lake Argyle Tours
Departing 9am from the Lake Argyle Boat Ramp and cruising to the official 10km race start.
A light morning tea will be served on this 2 hour cruise.
11:30 Finish Line Cruise – Lake Argyle Tours
Departing 11:30am from the Lake Argyle Boat Ramp, you will cruise to the head of the Swim field to catch the action. You then cruise to the finish line, where you anchor as the official finish boat. Upon crossing the line, swimmers will board the vessel for a quick celebration before heading off in their team boat. Includes non-alcoholic refreshments, BYO Lunch.
Cruise for approximately 30 minutes and stay onboard until your team crosses the line.
Air Tours:
Stay tuned for information on helicopter scenic flights during the 2013 event.

Presentation Dinner:
Presentations will kick off at 4.30pm on Saturday 4th May at Lake Argyle Resort with a huge Presentation Dinner.
The 2013 Presentation Dinner will offer table service and great live entertainment. Join our sponsors, committee, volunteers and VIP’s at this fantastic celebration.
Every team automatically receives a dinner ticket as part of their entry for:
1 skipper
1 paddler
Each swimmer
