OCEANIA JUNIOR SQUASH CHAMPIONSHIPS
(INCORPORTATING VICTORIAN JUNIOR STATE TITLES)

A great weekend of squash was played at MSAC this weekend. The atmosphere was fantastic with lots of the matches going to five and again as has been previously done at the end of it all we announced the Victorian Junior State Team.
Thank you to the Oceania Squash Fedreation for allowing us in Victoria the opportunity to hold this presitgious event. The last time this event was conducted was back in 1994 so we hope it continues to grow.
Thank you again to all the parents for bringing the players to this tournament. It was a very busy day with the 2012 Vic Open Qualifiers starting on the last day of the Junior Championships.
It was again good to see players make the journey from country Victoria, but it was great to see so many players from Tasmania, Northern Territory, South Australia, Papua New Guinea and New Caledoina. They all performed well on court as you can see from the results.
Following all the presetations of the weekend all results were input into the ranking system and the Junior State Team was then selected. The Team List and photo of the players are shown be- low and we wish them well when they assemble to play in Hobart in September this year.
Our next junior event is Graded Series 4 following TAP/TDS coaching to be held at MSAC on 22 July. Entry forms are available ONLINE at our website and close July 16 so get in early to avoid disapointment.

The Victorian Junior State Team was announced at the end of the State Titles and again this year we have a some of new faces.
The Coaches for this year are Cameron White and Manager/Coach Richard Cagliarini and cooking for the team will be Kerry Kun.
GIRLS SQUAD IS:
Phoebe Taylor (Epping), Belle Reid (Corio), Danielle Kun (Squash Logic Melton), Aeron Skid- more (Knox Park), Victoria Leow (Kooyong), Nicole Stoneham (MCC) and Taylor Flavell (MSAC).
