The Fitness & Leisure department is an integral part of the club experience for many members, offering various sporting and fitness activities. This includes the Starfish Swim School which specialises in teaching all levels of swimming programs making our program one of the most well rounded in Singapore.

Aquatics Manager

Reporting to the Assistant Director of Fitness & Leisure, you will be:

Responsible for the delivery of all Aquatic programs and the calendar of events to the highest possible standards and participation levels

Responsible for providing leadership and direction to the Aquatics Team of teachers, coaches and lifeguards

Coordinating operations, marketing activities, and taking responsibility for the financial performance of the Aquatics Department

Ensuring the Aquatics facility operates according to Workplace Safety and Health standards, as well as those of the Club more broadly

You should have:

Minimum ASCTA Bronze qualification (or equivalent) and a relevant tertiary qualification

4 to 6 years’ of teaching / coaching experience in Learn to Swim programs, Pre-comp and Competitive Squad. Experience in teaching Masters programs advantageous

Previous experience in managing teams for high level service delivery and ongoing professional development

A mature disposition to develop and maintain relationships with colleagues and Members

Demonstrated skills in developing budgets, reviewing P&L’s and reporting on financial performance

Marketing and business development experience for the promotion of participation in programs and events

Understanding of aquatics plant operations and water quality requirements

Competent in use of MS Office suite of programs

Experience in using Meet Manager advantageous
