POSITION VACANT TEAM MANAGER
2013 World Archery Championships
The 2013 World Archery Championships will be conducted in Belek, Antalya, Turkey from 29th September to 6th October 2013
Archery Australia Inc will be selecting a team to represent Australia at the championships. Compound athletes have been selected and Recurve athletes will have final selection process on the weekend of 6th and 7th July 2013.
A maximum number of 3 athletes per country are allowed to be registered into each category of the event.

Archery Australia Inc can enter a team of up to 12 archers.
Written applications are invited from interested persons to apply for the position of Team Manager.
Team Manager Duties –
• Liaising with the AA High Performance Department and AA Office to arrange team travel and uniforms.
• Collect personal details and consent forms prior to team departure.
• Liaise with the AA High Performance Department and AA Office to arrange entries and accommodation for team members and officials.
• During the competition arrange daily meetings with team members providing expectations and feedback to team members.
• Make contact with athletes and their personal coaches prior to the championships; ensure team management is fully conversant with each team member’s personal and medical requirements and needs.
• Work with the appointed team coaches, members of the team and other team officials to produce a team environment conducive with high performance.
• Provide progress reports to the Archery Australia Board through the Archery Australia CEO.
• Provide a final report to the Archery Australia Inc Board through the Archery Australia Inc CEO within 60 days of returning home from the championships.

• Provide support on a daily basis to team athletes and staff during event Skills / Background
• Must be a registered member of Archery Australia.
• Previous experience with youth team management is desired.
• Demonstrate knowledge of World Archery rules.
• Demonstrate effective communication skills.
• Have the appropriate working with children Police clearance if any team members are under 18yrs.
• Demonstrated professional behavior at Archery Australia events
• Ability to work cohesively with other appointed staff Benefits
• Archery Australia Inc will cover all major expenses incurred such as air travel, accommodation, uniform, meals and accreditation for the tournament.
• Archery Australia will not be responsible for costs incurred for any private activities arranged before, during or after the championships.

Selection
The Archery Australia Selection Committee will review all applications and make recommendations to the Archery Australia Board.
All applicants will be advised of the outcome.
