Visit the store and write the names of all the MILK PRODUCTS which have CALCIUM in them.

Read these sentences. Write TRUE or NOT TRUE beside each one.

1. Big kids should have breakfast before they go to school.

2. Potato Crisps and Coke make a good breakfast.

Get a large sheet of paper or card. Make up a chart showing the three Food-groups to use when you are talking to the schoolchildren. Show the foods which you can get in your own community, Show fresh foods and foods from the store.

ACTIVITY 10

Arrange for 3 or 4 big kids to work with you to prepare a good evening meal. Do these things with them -

1. Plan the meal. Talk to them about why those foods were Picked.

2. Go to the store and buy the foods you needJ orJ get them from the garden.

3. Read the recipes with them.

4. Help them to prepare the food and cook it.

5. Let them eat the meal they have cooked.

Write down here a recipe you knowJ orJ one you have found in a bookJ which you could show the big kids how to prepare.
